Monica Bedi, who plays Guman in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saraswatichandra, says the time slot of the show is wrong, because of which its TRPs cannot determine the shows popularity.

"It is a classy show. But because the time slot of 7.30 pm is wrong, the TRPs are also wrong. Though the viewership of the show is huge, the audience gets divided. Most of the people watch the rerun of the show on Doordarshan or at 11 pm. It is the number 1 show abroad. I do a lot of live shows, so I get the response and know that everyone is watching it," said Monica while defending the show.


She added that she did not want any positive shades in Guman because "she is the spice of the show." "She is always up to some conspiracy and that pushes the story forward. She is the backbone of the story. The thrill will go away if she turns positive." Asked about the reaction of the audience she said, "Today's audience is mature and understands that I am just portraying a character. As for the others, one cannot really bother about them."
