Fruitfly , scientific term - Drosophila melanogaster were the earlier immensely useful tools for studying genetics. They are more useful that one can begin to understand.

You are so right, why compare her to such creatures, they too are better then her.

Thats why I always call her scum, fungus, scum bag, etc.
She is the smell that you smell when something is decaying like dead animals or garbage, etc.
