A DIFFERENT SHADE OF HER HUSBAND

"BAM" opened the doors and Madhu sat up with a shock.Events of the horrific night playing in her mind.She calmed herself down as gently as possible.she looked at the wallclock which showed 4 pm in the evening..She picked up her mobile and was instantly stunnend ...

There was 147 missed call from Rk in the past three hours...Madhu felt drowsy again as the effect of the pain killer still presisted.As she was about to get down from the bed,the doors flung open and she saw a very worried Rk who came running to her...

rk-"Madhu...sweet heart are you okay? should i call the doctor jaan?" and began to check the bandages ,which to his horror was soaked in blood."Madhu you are bleeding ...I knew it i should'nt have gone leaving you all alone by yourself...look you cant even take care of yourself"...

Madhu just kept watching her husband...the only emotion his eyes held was Fear ,...

madhu immediatly cupped Rk's face and spoke to him looking at his eyes-"i am absolutely fine Rishab...just calm down please...Look its just that my hands hit that glass when i got up suddenly"...

Rk just hugged her.Madhu hugged him back ,missing his warmth the whole day...She continued stroking his hairs... whispering soothing words and promising him of staying with him till eternity...

Her mobile vibrated and she picked it up to find Bittuji calling her.

M-"Haan Bittuji ...koi problem?"

B-"Chief wahan he kya bhabiji?"

M-"ya. he is"

B-"Woh he left the shot in between,the film is ."...and paused

M-"Please continue..."

B-"Its halfway and the directors are not very pleased..."

Madhu cuts the phone and looks up to see Rk searching for the first aid box...

M-"Rishab..."

Rk came and sat down near her and looked at her like a child looking at his mother expectantly..

M-"what is this Rk you came in between the shot...

R-"Tho?You did not answer my calls and I was getting really worried, so I came to check on you"

M-"Rk i am fine ...not alone if you keep doing like this it will become a problem..."

Rk got up and went away to the balcony...His mind zoomed back into the things which happend a week ago

FLASHBACK

It had been a week after their honeymoon and they returned home totally insane about each other...madhu had left for shopping the consequitve day and had not returned ...After a lot of tracking and tracing Rk had been shocked to come across Sultan the Sadak chap who was fighting with Bhujang to save an injured Madhu...

Bhujang was killed and madhu was taken to the hospital.

madhu had no pulse when they reached and Rk was in the brink of nearing insanity seeing a lifeless Madhu.at that moment he realized the true and deepest of love he had her...He realized he would not be able to live if she died.He was about to end himself when he heard about the miracalous escape Madhu made from death...

The next 3 days were toughest as Madhu was in coma and not responding to anyone of the medicines...

When everyone had lost hope and made up their minds to release her from the ventilator support,Rk was forced by Radhaji and Padmini to see her for the last time...

Rk spoke something in her ears and Madhu began responding to him.She was out of danger and it had taken two more weeks for her to even speak ...

END OF FLASH BACK

Madhu remembered how rk refused to even move away from her.He did everything from feeding her to putting her to sleep in the nights...he slept hugging her ...the thought of which made her blush..

Madhu wondered if she was hard on him...She wrapped her hands around him from the back.Rk immediatly turned to hug her...

M-"I know you were worried about me but..."

Rk-"Sh...who said I was worried about you?"

madhu looked at him confused

Rk carassed her stomach and said-"I am worried about my princess ,you never care for her..."

M-"is it?"

Madhu walked away pouting...God her mood swings...

Rk rememberd the outcome of the incident... when Madhu woke up

Rk sat with Madhu helping her to drink water...

D-"Well Mr.Kundra I am glad you are here,I was hoping to talk to you...

R-"Is everything alright doctor? Is there any problem "

D-"No Mr.Kundra she is fine and so is your child"

Madhu dropped her glass and Rk looked even more shocked

D-"Congrats"

Madhu waited for her husband to come in...she wondered how he was going to manofy her...her husband was truly a man WITH DIFFERENT SHADES IN HIM...
