What an episode to remember. The confrontation of Guman was the highlight. Months of heartache watching Saras give all that respect to Guman are over. I look forward to the day LNV will see the real Guman. Unfortunately, we have to wait longer for that day.
Gautam's power packed performances yesterday and today have given some relief from the heartache we are experiencing thinking about the separation track.
Based on Gautam's tweets, it is clear the makers are following the novel. Well, it will be interesting to watch, how the makers will tweak the story. It is important for them to keep in mind the evolving role of women in India today. The original story is really good for those times. How the makers alter it to adapt to the current age, will be something to look forward to.
Wonder, how much of Saras-Kumud we can look forward to. If Kumud does marry another guy, how will Saras and Kumud be in touch. Will it not be a kind of infidelity ? Like in a husband- wife relationship, what role does a third person play ( especially if the third person happens to be the wife's ex-fiance). However, if they do not show Saras-Kumud the makers will miss a certain set of fans. There are quite a few who say they will stop watching if Saras-Kumud are separated
Similar to the novel, if Kumud is married to another guy and they show her husband is an alcoholic and a wife abuser. Will Kumud a well educated girl put up with all that nonsense, may be too much to see for the current times. Especially, now a days when you have too much media coverage to stop women abuse, they makers should be very careful.
Above all, we eagerly wait and hope to see more power packed performances from Gautam and other cast.
