I don't think ayan and katrina are close friend, if they were, he would had chosen her for YJHD. BTW i feel ranbir best work comes out with Deepika. RanKat had no chemistry in Raajneeti neither in their first movie. Ranbir was funny and all that, but that's about it. If you watch Ranbir Deepika promotion videos, you will see Deepika and Ranbir shares awesome chemistry off screen as well.
