Sometimes, some predictions, no matter how much ludicrous or meaningless it may appear at the moment, comes true. Those who are destined to meet end up meeting even if by surpassing every single hindrance preventing their meeting. If lives are destined to change they change, sometimes for better sometimes for worst. likewise the soothsayer lady's (sorry forgot her name) prediction will come true no matter how much in denial Mainavati is. If Jodha is destined to be the wife of the Mughal emperor, she will and if she was chosen by the destiny to be the one to change the emperor and in turn the fate of India, she will. Even Kali maa corroborated the soothsayer's prediction. The wedding invitation offered to the deity was not accepted insinuating the fate of the impending wedding - a wedding which do not have the blessing of the God.
This just brings home to us the fact that no matter how much one runs away from one's destiny, one cannot evade one's destiny. Likewise Jodha, the Rajput princess and Jalal, the Mughal emperor, are destined to be one and no Mainavati, no Suryabhan and no pre-planned wedding can obstruct their union.
What I loved the most in the soothsayer's prediction was that she said "jo bhi Jodha ka haath thamega wo is yug ka sabse bada Raja kehlayega"
Why indeed Akbar was the greatest emperor of his time. This also confirms that Jalal's mutation into Akbar will commence after his wedding to Jodha.
