I know what some of you must be thinking why has she started something new, but what to do, this was on my mind and I had to get it out. Will continue if you guys like it.
Part 1
"Mom is going to kill me," Manvi thought as she looked at the time, she had promised her mother that she would buy groceries, as her brother was having guests, but as usual Manvi had gotten caught up with "window shopping" and lost track of time.
She raced through the shopping centre parking lot to her car and put the groceries in the boot, "Bhai has to have his stupid friend over today, next time I am not volunteering for anything, try to do something good and now going to end up getting scolded by mom," she thought as she got in the car and reversed out of the bay.
BANG !!!! There was a loud sound.
"No, No, No," Manvi thought as she looked back in her rear view mirror to see that she had banged into a blue jeep.
"Shit, "she thought as she got out of her car, "can this day get any worse,"
"Didn't you see I was reversing out," She started at the guy in the jeep.
"Hey, it's not my fault, don't you know to look at your mirrors when you're backing your car," the guy said getting out of the jeep.
"Shit," She thought, the guy was about six feet tall, extremely broad shoulders and she could just imagine his muscles under the tight fitting tee, he was wearing. "Back to reality Manvi," she thought to herself.
"I looked at the mirrors, you're the one who came out of nowhere," Manvi said.
"Excuse me, I didn't come out of nowhere, you're the one who came out of nowhere and banged your car on my baby," He said.
"Baby," Manvi said and looked at him as if he was speaking some foreign language. "Firstly it's just a jeep and secondly you have to pay for the damage,"
"I'm not paying for anything, you pay for my damage, after all it's your fault," he said.
"Look I don't have time for this, I'm running late," Manvi said.
"Maybe you should have thought of it before you ran in to me," he said.
"I didn't run in to you, you ran into me," Manvi said.
"Urghhh ! I give up, get out of the way, I have to get home," Manvi said as she got back in the car.
"Hey, what about paying for the damage," he asked.
"If I have to fix my car, so do you," Manvi said and started backing out again, seeing that she was not going to pay for the damage he muttered something and she saw him getting in to the vehicle and make room for her to back out.
"Unbelievable," Manvi thought, "Not only am I going to get blasted for being late but also for knocking my car, stupid idiot, couldn't he see where he was going."
When she finally reached home, and pulled in to her driveway, she noticed a blue jeep parked outside opposite their house, "is that the same one," she thought to herself.
She parked her car and walked over to the pavement to see if the dent she had made was there, and sure enough it was, "What the hell, how does he know where I live," Manvi thought.
"Shit," she thought and raced inside, and opened the door.
"It's about time you got home, young lady," Manvi heard her mother say as soon as she opened the door.
"Sorry, mom," Manvi said as she walked in to the living room and looked around but only her mother was around.
"Where is he," Manvi thought to herself.
"Virat, has already arrived and now you have to help me start dinner, because you got late to come," Manvi's mother Madhuri said.
"Huh, who's Virat," Manvi said,
"Your brother's friend from University, you know the one who's come from India, to study at Melbourne University, he's in your brother's class." Madhuri went on. "Please don't tell me you've got amnesia and forgotten that Viren was having his friend over."
"No, I just saw a familiar car outside," Manvi said her thoughts wondering, "is it him." She thought.
"Manvi," she suddenly heard her mother calling. "What planet are you on, come and help me before it gets too late." She said and went in to the kitchen and Manvi blindly followed.
Manvi was busy helping her mother in the kitchen when she heard her father open the front door and come in.
"Manvi," he shouted.
"Oh shoot," Manvi thought to herself, "Daddy's seen the car," she hadn't had a chance to tell her mother about the accident and now from the sound of it her father would beat her to it which will make things even worse.
"Manvi, what happened to your car," Madan, Manvi's father came in to the kitchen and asked.
"What do you mean," Madhuri asked.
"Didn't your sweet daughter tell you," Madan asked, "she's gone and knocked the rear,"
"What, Manvi, you didn't even bother to tell me when you got home," Madhury started.
"Mom, let me explain, I was backing," Manvi started but she couldn't finish the sentence because her brother Viren and his friend came to the kitchen and took away Manvi's attention.
"Did you knock your car too," the guy said, "same with me, this stupid girl just backed out of the parking bay and had the nerve to blame the whole thing on me."
Manvi's face turned into a big "O".
"This is Virat," Viren said and introduced him to his father, "and this is my silly little sister Manvi,"
"I'm not silly, neither am I little, we happen to be twins," Manvi said, she was born only four minutes after Viren but he loved to call her his little sister just to annoy her.
"Hi," Virat said with a smirk on his face.
"I hope you're going to pay for fixing your car young lady," Madan said, "I sure am not going to,"
"It might take a few days, how am I going to Uni," Manvi said,
"You should have thought of that before you decided to hit your car," Madan said, "I'm sure Viren can take you,"
"You go to Melbourne Uni," Virat asked sounding surprised, "How come I've never seen you before,"
"She's does n't go to our campus, she was in the North side campus but from Monday she's going to come to the South side one," Viren told Virat, "I'd love to take you sis, but I have training at seven in the morning and unless you want to go at that time, I'm afraid it's public transport for you."
"I don't mind taking you, I actually stay close by, I can come pick you up, if aunty and uncle don't have a problem." Virat said.
Manvi looked at him thinking "is this guy for real". He knocks her car, talks like she was at fault and now volunteers to offer her transport.
"Oh, that's so sweet of you, Virat," Madhuri said,
"No that's alright, I can take the bus," Manvi said, making Virat just shrug his shoulders as if saying, "your choice."
"Don't be stupid sweetie, he's being such a nice boy and helping you out," Madan said.
Manvi was annoyed, her parents had so easily given in to his charm but Manvi saw right through it, but she had no choice, she had to agree to let him take her to Uni while her car was being repaired, which she had no clue as to how long it would be.
"Let's have dinner," Madhuri said and the five of them seated themselves for dinner.
"Thank you so much Aunty for dinner, it felt like I was back home," Virat said as he was at the door about to leave.
Manvi rolled her eyes, thinking "this guy is good."
"You're always welcome, you're like my own son," Madhuri said.
"That means a lot Aunty," Virat said to Manvi's mother, and turned to Manvi and said, "so I'll be here by eight tomorrow."
"Thanks again, I'll see you later," Virat said and walked out to his car.
"Such a sweet boy," Madhuri said, "Viren, how come you haven't brought him earlier,"
"He only came back from India after the summer break last week, he's a nice guy so Manvi be nice to him," Viren said.
"What," Manvi said.
"Just kidding," Viren said and laughed.
"I'll try," Manvi said and thought about her ill fate, she had got knocked down and the same person is going to be giving her transport.
"I can't stand the guy and now I have to be in the same car with him, urghhh!!!," she thought, "unbelievable,"
