So everyone keeps talking about some big twist that's about to go down, with Saras not turning up for the wedding and Kumud being left alone at the mandap. Okay, I got that part. What I can't figure out is why? We know that Laxminandan will be angry with Saras for screwing up his deal. And from the precap we know that there's going to be some new problem regarding Saraswati's suicide. But why would any of that lead to anything as drastic as cancelling the wedding?

I mean, think about it. Saras is head-over-heels, pagal, deewana, in love with Kumud. Look at all the money he threw away to buy a plane ticket to be with her for what, 20 minutes 😆? I get that he'll be very emotionally disturbed after all this crap goes down, and that he was never very good with handling his emotions anyway. But will whatever happens be that bad that he would throw away his only chance to be with the girl who he can't be apart from for 2 days? I know this is a bit early for speculation and that we don't even know what's going to happen yet, but I can't imagine any scenario in which Saras and Kumud's wedding would be downright cancelled. Any thoughts?

To be honest, I am myself not very clear on this.. As far as I can understand, the wedding will not be called off.. atleast not ''officially''... LaxmiNandan has no reason to blame Kumud for this or even Saras for that matter.. Yes, Saras shouldn't have left the country without informing, just one day before such an important merger.. But he himself should have consulted Saras before pre-ponding the merger date.. Its appalling to see a businessman of his stature, consult his wife rather than his son who is a co-signatory of the deal, before taking a business decision. Its his fault and to an extent Saras' .. He can not call off the wedding based on this merger fiasco..It seems Saras will leave his house and family in Dubai.. he may try to reach Ratnagiri to explain everything to Kumud and her family..but he will not be able to reach on time.. This is where the rogue inspector and Sahas rai might play dirty.. he has vowed that he will not let Saras' wedding happen.. so he may arrest him under false charges.. lots of possibilities there.. depending on how long they want to keep Saras away.

Honestly I am myself utterly confused because we are still not sure that kumud will be left alone in the Mandap...I have not read the novel myself nd don't know what's going to happen but what ur saying is absolutely true because if Saras doesn't get married to kumud I feel as if he will loose more hope in relations and then he won't have anyone to bring him back...so either Saras will have to bring himself back to get kumud back or he will have to get married to kumud!

I guess that would make more sense than all the possibilities I've been thinking of..but I'm still going to hope that the wedding will happen and that all these rumors are
false :)

yeah i think either he wont turn up at the wedding and will be too late, Kumud family gets badnami and all and therefore marries her off to someone else.

Maybe cos of the whole father son rift, Vidya does not want to break his friendship with Laxminandan and says no for the marriage?

he becomes his depressed self and believes that really no relationship he is in can sustain and therefore Kumud is better off alone.

whatever the reason...the whole seperation thing totally sucks :-(
