And well there should be a topic for them... i made one but that is in one of the last few pages so well here i am starting it again...

they have a feature on HPFF... its ask an author feature... since there r so many authors on HPF, we could start a post lyk tht and have a little bout each author and their story and we can u knw hv members can ask them questions on wrting styles and furthur plan for story... etc etc... .. it was an on the spur kinda idea and well... i hv to spit it out at tht moment....

anyway i looooooove writing...n my current two fav authors are jk rowling and meg cabot 😃 ...jkr for her plots and mc for her style 😉 ..other than them i luv every1 who write the sweet valley books and then theres enid blyton who i feel is a timeless author 😳 the first ever author whose novels i read 😆..who inspired me to read more 😳 and even though her books hv grown too kiddish fr me now 😆 ...i still say shes one of d best authors,classic n timeless 😳

Favorite Authors on IF: Niyu [thts the reason im co-writing a fic with her!], Aparna [ya wen will it dawn on them is co-riten with her], Tanu [im her editor but she has escaped taking her fic with her! ok ok tanu no offense, im the one hu has escaped!!!] and i love harshu's fic... she hasnt updated recently 😭 and nutz is gr8 too.. i miss her luvgud cronicles... [hint hint 😉]

What your Inspiration?: Well, a lot of things... i have been a vorracious reader like ever since i was around 10-12 months when i started these alphabet books 😆 and then i started out with Enid blyton who was the first one to inspire me.. the idea of becoming a writer has been in my mind like ever since my 4th std when my teacher told my mom that i wud do a gr8 job at it.. and since then i have bin writing so many stories but tey r all sitting on my cmp... I usually never read fanfics but one day sitting at 11 in the night with net on my aptop [i was @ bombay with my dad] i decided, why not try one, and the first one i read just baffled me. it was 49 chaps long, a lily/james fic written at mugglenet and i felll so much in luv with it tht i wrote to luv or to hate... and then road to luv was totally inspired by meg cabot. i luv her style of writing and the way she puts things accross.. and of course i read a lot of classics... Anne series was one more thing which caught my attention and inspired me... and i could just go on and on and on... and of course... u HPFF readrs demanding the nxt chappie inspired me and so did my so-called editor, better known as best friend NIyu and my gang of friends in scul..

As soon as I saw this-I clicked right here. For one thing it was Ysh and for another it was a Writer's Workshop. Great topic buddy! 😛 😆 😆

Okie dokie I'm not a so active writer over here, but I think I've got the mood back-not exactly for HPFF though I edited my Lovegood Chronicles but I've taken into writing for fanfiction.net. Sending in my first story to queue right now!

What your Inspiration?:
Ummm...lots of people. First of all my mother and father, who guide and encourage me to write. Then my friends who have given me more insight of the world and people that no PhD can offer. The great maestros J.K Rowlings, Meg Cabbot, Philip Pullman and all the classic writers.Last but not least all the people on IF, specially all the HPFF writers!

1)People center their fanfiction. (as in alignment, It's not a POEM! it doesn't need to be centered.)
2)Super short fic chapters.
3)Grammer mistakes(too many !s or missing commas)
4)Not enough description
5)Mary Sues
6)Too many OCs.
7)Crappy description or no description at all of objects.
8)So-called authors who post one lame story on FF.net and think they know everything.
9) Misspelled character names!
10)Authors who tell more than they show.
Examples:
telling - She looked sad.
showing - Her heart dropped like a stone and tears formed around her eyes.
(This shows more emotion than 'She looked sad', and also grabs the reader's attention.)
telling - She screamed when she saw the spider.
showing - She let out a deafening scream and frantically jumped on the nearest chair at the sight of a harmless spider.
(This sounds a whole lot better than 'She screamed...', adds much more detail, action, and a tad bit of humour. It's also seems much more interesting and makes the reader want to know what will happen next.)
