Reunion time in JHalak

After winning hearts as Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherji's daughter in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Sana Saeed wowed the audience as the college hottie in Student Of The Year last year. The young actress is now all set to show case her skills as a dancer through a wild card entry on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Sana will be competing with the likes of Vatsal Seth, Karan Patel, Mantra, Mukti Mohan, Rochelle Maria Rao and Rohit Roy.

Sana may have an advantage over the others having worked with judges Karan Johar and Remo D'souza. Incidentally, D'souza. Incidentally Remo choreographed the popular number Disco Deewane. However, Sana believes that the duo may be even stricter with her, since they have seen her dancing before. She says, "Jhalak...is an amazing platform to grow as a dancer. I haven't trained formally in dancing, though I had taken a few classes of street jazz under Ashely Lobo just for fun. I am stepping out of my comfort zone for this show and yes it does feel better to know that Karan is there. As far as judging is concerned I think Karan and Remo will be strict with me, having seen my potential."

Besides the judges, Sana will also be reuniting with fellow contestant Siddharth Shukla who she had worked with in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, way back in 2008. The actress says, "I have been touch with Siddharth and it's nice catching up with him again on the sets. I think he's doing a good job think he's doing a good on the show. I have also worked with choreographers Tushar and Punit during Student Of The Year. Among the contestants, I also like Salman Drashti, Punit Lauren and even Shaan has been performing well."

While Sana is all excited about the show, she admits there have been a few set backs as well. "It's my second day and my choreographer got changed, so the steps got changed. I am now with Tushar who was earlier with Ekta Kaul this season. Dancing is so much different than working out a the gym. I am rehearsing six to eight hours a day and my body is sore and stiffened out," she rues.

Speaking about other projects she tells us, "There is something that I will announce post October. I definitely want to do films that are different from my past work."
