I also had the same Q at the start but this usually happens in villages. Jaister is a village or not is a matter of debate 😉 but for sure people are still in the same mind state. Villagers are usually influenced by a powerhouse family and singhs being the same for years, villagers approach them for any issues. I remember they said they tried to do something about it but it didn't help so they came to DS as a last option. Perhaps DS/her sons will try to talk to collector and if even that doesn't help then the new sarpanch and panchyat will take legal steps like approaching to CM etc.

I don't think there is anything odd in the way Sarpanch had come over to DS seeking her help in the matter of illegal allocation of agricultural land to the city builders.

No this is not going to happen... There are lot of tracks waiting in queue to happen in Udaipur 😆 And CVs seem to have become sensible now so I dont feel everything will be back @ Jaitser.

First Shiv is not the only honest and hard working IAS officer and second you cannot make a Collector stay in one place just because that place does not have an efficient Collector...like Jaitsar every place in country needs a good Collector...so if they bring back Shiv it will be totally wrong...what i don't understand is why are they transfering Shiv in Rajasthan only...he is an IAS not RAS...before Jaitsar he was in Chittor and now Udaipur...wish he soon gets out of Rajasthan and hopefully some far away place...Shiv ne Jaitsar ka koi theka nahi utha rakha hai...his duty for Jaitsar was only when he was a Collector there...now his duty lies for Udaipur

DS happens to be in the village and who rose to prominence in that village because of her active involvement over matters that concern the welfare of the village.

Sarpanch had come over to enlist her support in this matter.If she supports the issue rest of the villagers automatically follow and support the sarpanch over the issue.

Sarpanch is just an elected representative of the village and he is mobilising support of the villagers through DS.
