Hello,
It was telecasted on last friday on star one.
Can any religion suggest self death or sucide esp, whose motto is "ahinsha"?
Can Santhara be meant to cure uncurable and difficult conditions by fasting aversions, resting, medications etc.as last resort?
Other species commonly practice fasting, resting, avoiding lighted placesetc. for getting cure. It may also be possible that we naturally get such initiations on any difficult disorder..aversions, depressions, suciding tendancies, resting, avoiding lighted places etc.
