I want to appreciate all the actors of D3 who work(ed) continuously with full sincerity and dedication only to entertain us. Amarjeet, Shantanu, Vrinda, Vrushika, Archie, Alisha, Macedon, Samentha, Amar, Priyanka, Bharat, Vinti, Sneha, Shakti, Sneha K, and Lavin. All the main actors of D3 who made us love them, adore them and also hate them too. Some are still part of the show while others have left for some or the other reason. But anyways they are still worth to be appreciated and remembered.
Amarjeet Singh: The very first person to be part of D3. He was the first person to be selected for a character, Rey. He played the role of Reyansh Singhania who is a hero, a rumoured Casanova, an awesome dancer, a team leader but a simple and sweet guy at heart. Amar made rey popular through his charm, talent and hardwork. He gave full support to his co stars to make them feel comfortable and also helped D3 to shine.
Shantanu : He came, he smiled, he danced and he conquered million of hearts. He was a fantastic dancer from the start but he proved himself as a fantastic actor too. Shantanu was popular because of his character Swayam or Swayam became popular because of Shantanu , its difficult to decide. But for sure Shantanu is a gem. In the BTS one can clearly see that he truly is sweet, awesome and wonderful. Shantanu's dancing skills are not hidden from anyone, whether he does solo, duet or group dances he always shines. His skates dance are my favourites. Shantanu and Swayam both are different from each other but he makes you believe that they are one. I can go on and on about Swayam and Shantanu but I have to stop myself here.
Shakti : Shakti is one of my favourite dancers, in fact my most favourite dancer in D3. I still cant forget her spin in footloose auditions, during that spin I was like wow!! Awesome!! Shakti or Kriya now seems like one and same person only. Of course Kriya the character was made keeping Shakti in mind. Shakti ruled hearts and still does, her fans didn't forget her. Kriya is still there on the forum through KR ff's ss and os. Shakti left D3, she left fame, name and popularity for her dream, her passion, because she didn't only wanted to be a star but she wanted to be a dancing star, she wanted to make her career in dance because dance was her love, her passion. Shakti as Kriya and as herself is an inspiration for everyone. I have immense respect for her.
Sneha Kapoor: Sneha what should I say about her. Angel, purity beautiful are the words that come to my mind when I think of her. Sneha Kapoor is Sharon or Is Sharon Sneha Kapoor. Its difficult to say. Sneha the way she portrayed Sharon made us all love Sharon to the core. She told us that Sharon is complicated, complexed, flawed but at the same time is so loveable that you can't stop admiring her and feeling for her. Sneha was loved and adored by everyone, by her fans, her co actors and the entire team of D3. She inspired her co actors in terms of acting and sometimes even made the entire team cry and openmouthed by her performance. Sneha was already a fantabulous dancer, although her forte was Indian and bollywood but she also performed western easily and smoothly that everyone was dumbstruck. Sneha inspired her co actors to raise the bar of acting, she played a girl she never was and never could be. Sneha also left D3 because she was uncomfortable about certain things but she left D3 so that the fans of swaron are not disappointed, fans should get what they want, thought Sneha. She was uncomfortable but she never ever made any viewer feel or think that she is uncomfortable, she did everything with so much ease. When she left Everyone had tears in their eyes. Love you Sneha.
Vrinda : Guts, positivity is Vrinda. Vrinda joined D3 when Shakti had left, when most Kriyansh fans had left too. When the show was going because of Swaron , amar the gang and their fans. Before her entry only fans had cried and shouted that they won't accept any new girl opposite Rey, no new character will be accepted. Still Vrinda and her character was introduced. Vrinda along with her character was bashed left, right and center. The saying "you can hate me , you can love me but you cant ignore me" fits perfectly on her. She through her talent, her beauty made a special place in the hearts of many of her fans.
Vrushika : The newest girl in D3. A girl, who had lot of responsibilities and expectations from people to fit in the shoes of Sharon Rai Prakash. Sharon a character who is already complicated and goes through different emotions at the same time plus Sneha had already raised a level of acting by portraying Sharon beautifully. Some were even not ready to accept the new Sharon before her arrival, including me, but after she came she showed, what a brilliant dancer and performer she is. She IS a brilliant dancer and a wonderful actress and never ever she made me feel that Sharon is no longer the old Sharon or she has changed, yes Sharon did sober down but she was always the diva, the tigress. Vrushika has given us, swaron fans, Sharon the Diva and Swaron love story back.
Archie: Like all he is also a fantabulous dancer and has come a long way in terms of acting. I remember when I saw one of his interview he said that his first shot took 25 retakes and in that shot only he had to do was to stare, there was no dialogue for him in that shot. :D But now everything is changed. Archie gave us Vicky the proud dazzler, who couldn't even bear the sight of the weaklings and then falls for a weakling, Neha. It was a treat to watch him when ever he sees Neha around he feels like he is falling in a pool :D It was hilarious.
Alisha : Alisha is one of the fanatbulous dancers we have in D3. She can do any form and style of dance she wants. Neha, Alisha's on screen character was a unique one. Especially her English and her drama presentation of her emotions. Alisha was fantabulous, is fantabulous and will always be fantabulous dancing wise and acting wise too. I don't think anyone could have played Neha so beautifully and innocently as Alisha did. Keep it up Alisha!!!!!!
Macedon : He is a natural performer. Whenever he dances he is always the best but in terms of acting also he is the best. I always find his acting, dialogue delivery the most natural, his expressions are mind blowing, totally out of the world. Whenever he has danced with Shantanu their performances are not less than The Best.
Samentha : Wonderful dancer and wonderful actress of the show. Samentha is Simmi, who simply looks like a follower of Sharon but actually understands Sharon the best among the girls. Who knows Sharon very well. Her problems, insecurities, etc. Simmi knows all. Simmi is shown as the most closest to Sharon. Today if we can understand Simmi and her concern for Sharon, her character, her individuality, is only because of Samentha. Samentha being Simmi played a wonderful friend in D3.
Priyanka : Sweet, weird and a little dumb, Rinni, who doesn't understand what others do instantly or understands all that, that others fail to do so. Priyanka played this character beautifully. Rinni a blind follower of Sharon, who wants to be like her but she is unable to become like Sharon, instead she became herself, a different cute girl. Priyanka in my opinion is the last character in terms of importance. She has been given the least importance in the show, character wise, story wise and dance wise as well.
Amar G: Amar, simpleton in looks and character aamr Goda has managed to win peoples hearts through his character Amal. His Jodi with rinni is so loved but still CVs don't know why don't show any progress in their story. I would love to see Rimar's love story. In the GS election 2012 track he proved what a fantabulous actor he is. Keep it up Amar.
Bharat: Bharat, the youngest actor in the show among all the actors. He himself and his character totally rock in the show. After Swayam's character it sis bharat whom I like very much. I use to love the friendship they shared I think among the weaklings these were the first friends. I can never forget the garage dance sequence.
Vinti: Vintis character Vishakha was a wonderful character on D3. She was a weakling by choice because she chose to be in weakling team. She had a mind of her own and did not follow the dazzlers blindly. Whenever she felt she voiced out her opinion, whether in front of dazzlers, or Rey. She did what SHE thought was right. Vinti played Vishakha naturally and gave a very realistic performance. Vinti herself was also very different from other girls of D3, while all the other girls were slim and smart and Vinti was a little bulky still her dance moves made a special place in many people's hearts. Though she has left for resons unknown but I am sure that she also must have had a good reason to quit D3.
Sneha G : Sneha came after Vinti' exit. Viewers didn't understand initially why she was brought. Though people thought that she would be Bharat's love interest, but instead CVs showed her Swayam's admirer. Aashi and her "Types" became quite popular within the show and also among the viewers also. Sneha's dance and her talent made her to be accepted very early. Now she is also an inseparable part of D3.
Lavin : Lavin's Character Shivam was hated, and is hated till now ( by me and swaron fans). But we have to agree that Lavin made us hate Shivam, he was a good actor and played the cunning, strategist Shivam quite convincingly that we always knew that whenever there is problem in our protagonist lives it has to be because of him only. Lavin is not in the show neither his character but he played a very important role in the leads lives whether in parting them or uniting them.
Ohh!! This became a very very long post. I thought that Amarjeet, Shantanu, Vrinda, Vrushika, Shakti and Sneha K are always praised by their fans so I felt like writing something for all the actors of D3, what I felt I wrote. This is strictly, my personal opinion. Anyone can agree or disagree with it. I don't want nay fights between the fandoms. Everyone has their own favorite, and we should all respect each other's opinion.
I love D3 and all the characters and actors working in it.
