Part 28:
The daring cop in her had already abandoned her the moment he kissed her….what remained in her was a shy and simple girl who was vulnerable in such passionate moments and couldnt meet his gaze so easily!!
Grinning at her silence, he parted from her and added, "chalo dinner thanda ho jaayega….[taking a deep breath] waise bhi its risky to stay here like this! I don't trust myself!"
When she looked at him enquiringly, he looked at her head to toe once and winked at her before putting his arm around her and slowly taking her out of the room to the dinner table!!

They have dinner together…as her arm is fractured, he helps her in eating…..he feeds her slowly….
Her proximity and yet maintaining the distance was indeed a sheer torture for him but being the gentleman he was, he couldn't cross his limits anytime soon….
Her state was nothing less…staying under the same roof and such close encounters were tormenting her as well….The instance which happened just moments before was giving her wild trembles even now!
The man whom she loved deeply was right before her and keeping him away from herself was making her feel desperate and miserable! His thoughts and feelings weren't hidden from her as well!
Meanwhile, the sight of her food smeared lips were irresistible but he controlled himself and looked away from her….
All through the dinner, she could see his desperate efforts to keep himself away from her….she grinned seeing him do that…..She also never wished to maintain this distance but her promise still remained unfulfilled….she had to get the friends closer….only then could she marry Sameer!
So she had to focus on it more….she could see that her efforts paying off well…..Arjun and Sameer weren't that hostile with each other as they used to be before……The cold vibes were transforming into positive ones now!
Arjun supporting Sameer while she went through the accident and Arjun giving him moral support was enough proof to their undying friendship!
She just had to brush away the dust which lay on top of their friendship which caused it to stay buried and hidden!
She let a deep sigh and continued eating…

After dinner, he was in the kitchen clearing the dishes……He had ordered her not to do any of those chores because of her fractured hand…..She just stood by the kitchen counter observing him doing all the work by himself! Her hands itched to help him but he wasn't letting her even touch the vessels and plates!
Aisha: Sameer, main bhi help kar dethi na??? kaam jaldi se ho jaatha!
Sameer: NO…..tum bilkul chup chaap khadi raho…..I can manage this….yahaan aise nahi rukh sakthi toh jaao so jaao….You need rest!
Aisha: [a little irritated with him chasing her away from there] okay…..fine…
As she starts walking away, he understands that she is angry……..He washes off his hands quickly and grabs her before she could walk away…..
She twirls around and lands on him in a jerk but he did that slowly and cautiously so that her hand isn't impacted by it…….she places her free hand on his chest while his hands snake her waist forcing her to stand as close as possible…She poses a false anger and tries to free away from him but he keeps her fixed there……..
Her wriggling attempts to get away soon ceases as their eyes meet each other….
Sameer: itna ghussa kyun??? Kaam nahi karne diya, isiliye na??? I am concerned for you Aisha…apne haath ko strain karogi toh teek kaise hoga??? Isiliye manaa kiya…..warna main sab kaam tumse hi karwaatha…..dont worry…..humaare shaadi ke baadh sab kuch tumhe hi karna hai! I wont do anything….[grins at her cheekily]
Aisha pouts angrily hearing that, "KYA??? Sameer, you are marrying me and not hiring me as a maid….ok!
He grins further naughtily to flare her up even more and leans to her lips, "multipurpose hai na?"
In her anger, she bends away to deny him the kiss….and voices, "No way you are getting that Mr Sameer Rathod!"
Her cheeks were red in anger now and he couldn't resist that!
Sameer: [pinching her red cheeks fondly] aww tumhe patha hai tum kitni cute lagthi ho jab ghusse mein hoti ho!
All of Aisha's anger melts away in a moment and she blushes pink instead while he adds, "waise yeh sharmaana bhi tumhe suit kartha hai…..tumaare harr roop ke deewaana bann gaya hoom Aisha….ab dur rehna bohat mushkil hai!"
Aisha: [blushing and in an impulse] kisne kaha dur rehne ko???
Sameer: oh yeah….mujhe torture karna ab tumaare pass time ho chukha hai na?? ek side mein khud hi shaadi postpone kar rahi ho aur doosre side pe yeh sawaal, haan??
Aisha: [looking away from his gazing eyes shyly] shaadi hi postpone kiya hai….pyar keliye manaa thodi na kiya tha!
Sameer grins and brings her face to face him and voices romantically, slowly lifting her up and placing on the kitchen counter, "ab isska matlab kya hai Aisha?"
Instantly, Aisha freeing herself from him all of a sudden and sprinting out voicing, "jo bhi aap samajhna chaahe…."

Sameer sprinted right behind her "hey Aisha…..rukho…."

A few hours before……
Arjun, Shree and Chotu are in Aisha's dad's place….Her family is yet to know about Aisha's accident…..
Aisha's dad is resting in his room….Arjun chooses to question the family first without disturbing her dad!
Hearing the news about the accident, mom and the first son who are at home are shocked…..
Arjun explains, "gabraane ki koyi baat nahi hai…..Aisha bilkul teek hai…."
Her step mom flares up, "meri beti ka accident hogaya aur humein patha bhi nahi chala…accident kal hua aur aap humein aaj batha rahe hai!"
Arjun glares at her and then enquires, "uss car ka delivery kisne liya tha??"
The son speaks up, "papa ke kehne par maine hi delivery liya tha…"
The mom is now agitated and speaks up, "accident hua toh ab iss mein mere beta ka kya khasoor hai??? naye car mein koyi fault raha hoga!"
Arjun stares at her once and instantly replies, "humne bass accident ke baat kahi thi….iss mein car ki kharaabi ki baat kahaan se aa gayi madam??"
The mom gulps as if caught off guard but Arjun himself snaps her out by changing his question, "property ke liye kuch jagda hua tha na???"
The son speaks up now…."officer, property ke liye jagada zaroor hua tha par isska matlab hai nahi ke hum Aisha ke accident karwaa denge.."
Arjun: maine aisa kab kaha tha???
Mom: [instantly] par aapka kehne ka matlab wahi hai officer!
Arjun: [glaring] mere baaton ka sirf ek hi matlab hota hai madam…usske aage kuch na soche wahi teek hoga aap keliye…..aap yeh baat samjhe ya…..samjhaavum?
As the mom and son alternate their looks, Arjun continues, "khair, aap ke ghar ke drivers aur baaki naukaron se bhi baat karni hai…unne bulaayiye!"
He looks around and enquires, "aapka doosra beta kahaan hai?"
The first son speaks up, "woh college gaya hai!"
Mom enquires,"par usse kyun doond rahe hai?? usse inn sab se dur hi rakhiye…baccha hai woh!"
Shree: mam..ab jab case hai toh sabse pooch taach karna padega….
Mom: [flaring up] uss Aisha ne ek maamooli accident ko humaare khilaaf ka saazish banaa diya….aur aap bhi usske baaton mein aakhar yahaan chale aa gaye… [She was muttering and cursing Aisha under her breath when Arjun snapped her angrily….Chotu and Shree flare up as well!]
Arjun: Aisha ek ETF officer hai….usske khilaaf aise baatein bolne se pehle sau baar sochiyega….
After that Arjun delegates the tasks and proceeds further…..
Chotu goes to question the drivers, Shree goes to the other servants…while Arjun goes to meet Aisha's dad…
A little later, they are back in the living room when Chotu informs Arjun, "sir, driver ka kehna hai ke car dho din workshop mein thi…. "
The son interrupts, "haan main khud le gaya tha…seat cover aur steering covers fix karwaane…"
Arjun raises his eyebrows and scrutinize him……and then after a pause voices in general, "teek hai…..case jab tak solve nahi ho jaatha, iss ghar ke koyi bhi shehar se baaahar nahi jaayega…..Am I clear??"
Putting back his glares, he announces, "lets go!"
As they drive back, Arjun instructs, "Shree, uss family ke saare members aur jitne bhi close people hai, sab ke background check karo….uss maa aur beton ke call records, financial transactions sab nikhaalo….wahi kahi kuch toh choot raha hai!"
