Qubool Hai ' Making of Warehouse Sequence and more!
The making of the making is perhaps as interesting as the show is. While the drama that is staged on-screen is interesting in itself, the drama that goes behind the drama is equally fun. Be it the sheer frenzy that assails the whole unit for a certain shot. The organised chaos with noise, shouts and orders that to an outsider would seem as if people are fighting with each other.
Gorky has given importance to the making of a show as he believes that while the product is important, how it is created can be as fascinating and of course, it is a memory captured and immortalized to be viewed anytime. We at Forum 32 subscribe to this thought and hence bring you as much of making as we humanly can as while we like to be everywhere, it is not always possible.
Here is the sequence of a little bit of the mental hospital cheat shot. And we particularly got you that so as to understand how things are done, one needs to know how cheats are done too. They say right, to learn a language well, learn the abuses first. Ok, we are being a little off-track right now.
But while shooting for the sequence, Mumani i.e. Raziya Siddiqui (Alka Kaushal) is to hit the stick on Asad Ahmed Khan (Karan Singh Grover). But Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) was too near as he was holding her. And the stick (which was actually a cardboard roll, the kind you find cloth rolled over) had a mind of its own. Twice it hit Amrapali. Once, the stick slipped off Karan's silky hair and hit her nose, which was painful. We had gotten her ice and of course waited for her bearing to be back as she definitely saw stars. And right after that when they did the shot again, somehow Alka ended up hitting her hand on the shoulder, while her target was the back of Karan's head.
We may smile a bit now, but at the time it was worrying though Amrapali had been laughing about it. We are telling you this, cause we had not shot that. Did not seem right. But you all have imagination, right! So there is a bit there and rest we leave up to you.
