He says I will ask Zoya to leave me. Is this because he wants to marry Tanveer? No it is because he is feeling really guilty and unworthy of her...
He has understood his own worth in the eyes of Zoya by looking at the Taveez. The taveez of Love and Trust. Zoya left it behind. Letting him know that "SHE HAD LOVED AND TRUSTED HIM". He knew she had gone by seeing that symbolic but clear message.
Does this understanding of a symbol signify an awakening for Asad and he starting to see things for what they are? Only time will tell...
