Mayyo Lovely part! I agree we had to wait but as always it was worth the wait. Seriously it was so beautifully written. Small details were given importance, so much of thought must have gone behind it all'. without straying away from what you intended to write.

The biggest relief I get is when you guys tell me it was worth the wait. I literally feel like saying 'Phew! Shukar hai!' 😳

There were so many scenes that I loved so much that I can't exactly point out which I loved more & which I will treasure with me. It was as if I was in a beautiful place seeing it all happen & transpire.

Raya is a sweetheart. Her nature is contrast to Gee's yet there's this similarity between them. They're on guard & in their own way fiercely protective about each other. Loved their bonding & understanding & even the level of maturity these two have though their ways of dealing with stuff is different.

Sisters are usually like that, aren't they? Different yet similar, understanding and protective of each other...

Raya questioned Maan about his hallucination, having any medical problem. 🤣 I want say that's not related to medicine but its love that his mind conjures it all even when she's present in reality.

How would Raya know if it was a medical problem or a cardiac problem. 😆

Maan couldn't have a good first impression with both the sisters. But then I loved it how it was changed soon. Both Geet & Raya like him for the person he is not going by his first impression.

I didn't actually do that intentionally. I hadn't even thought ke Geet pe bhi first impression bigad gaya tha. 😆 But, yes, I strongly believe that first impression isn't the last impression and so that's what showed in here.

Raya wanted the best for her sister knowing how closed & introvert she is, so did her own bit of observation, spying around and finally concluding that he's the best Geet can get. Till she doesn't affirm the choice & the real person Maan is she keeps her guard but once she knows his basic persona she extends her hand for friendship. Also liked how joyous Raya is, mingling with everyone at ease well shown by you in her bonding with Zynah a girl who is an introvert. I could so relate to Zynah's description as she's quite similar to me.

Well, Raya knew her sister too well so she had to do her own bit of investigation. But then she's open and lively so she befriended Maan as we as the introvert Zynah. I can actually figure as much that you're quite an introvert and you nly open up to a few people. So in that case, Avi and myself are lukcy to have you here. 😳

PS: Zynah is a shadow of what I am in real life.

Neil was a pain behaving so. I understand flirtatious nature but then one should know their bounds & also take into consideration other person's comfort & liking. Maan came to protect Raya form Neil. Oh how I loved it. Munda is so sweet. I really liked his act there, he is so respectful and chivalrous but fiercely protective towards the ones he considers his own and now Raya comes into his circle of loved ones. Geet intervening in & then calming him down was beautiful. It showed how in sync they both are with each other. Geeet's maturity I like, the way she handled the situation post that altercation just so that the celebrative mood doesn't get affected.

People like Neil are all around us and yes, they're a pain when they forget their limits!

Yes, they Maan and Geet are in sync with each other and that is what she used to her advantage to calm him down and not ruin the celebratory atmosphere.

Hayee that walks in the night, for me was a walk to remember. How much at ease both were & also so perceptive even in silence. I guess I've mentioned before too that I really love it when silence is comforting between two souls; it shows the level of comfort & understanding. The end to the walk with the smiles on their faces brought a smile to my face. I so loved that line '. "Or maybe it has something to do with the person you walked with." ❤️ I really love to read this story Mayyo because it makes me smile & gives me a feel good feeling. Your writing makes me happy & to know that such serenity & beauty can be there in writing.

Yes, I remember you mentioned liking companionable silences. That is what I usually like too and that's what I've tried to show between these two.

Raya 'Maan convo while sitting by the steps was good one. A lovely start to the bonding between Jeeju-saali. Raya makes him blurt out his obvious liking towards her sister, that affirms her trust in him that he's the best for Geet and the one who understands her nature & her silence. I see that both the sisters did notice his expressive eyes & that charming smile Where the elder one loves them the younger one likes it and knows her sister's choice is the best.

She had to do something to confirm what she already knew and that's how it all happened!

Raya limited herself to only like those eyes and smile because she knows her sister loves them. 😳

The mehndi design scene wow! Now I loved it that both are have similar tastes. Future mein bada kaam aayega. Also it came to my notice that how meticulous planner Geet is she applied mehndi only on the back of her right hand & left palm surfaces, shows she plans a lot & is quite futuristic.

You noticed exactly what I wanted to bring out! 😃

The sangeet night ❤️ "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" so true, Geet was cribbing & felt her attire was too glittery & that she didn't look good but then when he complimented her by his words & gestures she saw her own beauty through his expressive eyes. That whole entangling in the lehenga & falling into the saving arms of her Ma(a)n was hayee! I went into dreamy mode. They were so lost in each other' jaise waqt tham gaya ho. 😳 And my tortoise couple mived ahead in speed. Maan ne itna accha compliment diya without much hesitation. GORGEOUS! When he said that I was grinning like a fool loving his progression, it showed how confident he has become with her as he is sure of his feelings & also knows somewhere she too feels for him. It was also showed in his claim on holding her hands to see the henna design. He has become comfortable with her & knows that yeh uska haq hai' Loved it ❤️ and then that song "Is pal mein hu" I have always liked that song. Raya picked the perfect song for the situation for my tortoise couple.

True, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and the beauty which Geet couldn't see from her own eyes, he showed it to her.

He has taken some steps towards her, shedding his own reservations and this is why he could compliment her without hesitation. I too love that song!

Heytal & I guessed the teaser right. It was the picture of them sleeping in the bus. I had loved that scene and now both of them will have that as a treasured memory.

The wedding morning, the emotions of the three Khuranas was well understood, after all its such occasions that the presence of a beloved is missed the most. Geet coming in at the time to lift that mood up was very well incorporated as she will be their family somewhere in the future. (I know I'm being hopeful as I know it's going to happen for sure.) And then the transition Geet observes in the mood later during breakfast was good. Maan's mom is a character I have really adored in this story and once again you've made it so lively.

Yes, it is at such times that we miss those loved ones who aren't around...

The wedding function was the most beautiful for the moments these two love birds had. Not too mushy yet very sweet. Very beautifully described. Her wearing the red anarkali & him complimenting with his black attire beautiful pair. The gift ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Loved it. The whole description of it. The way he takes her in a corner & gifts her emotionally convincing her, and then her claim on her by holding hands & hiding it behind her dupata and standing in that manner throughout the wedding ritual was awesome. Seriously my tortoise has impressed me with his romantic side, and his claim on her. He has finally caught speed and in turn has made to accept & admit her feelings at least to her own self.

Not making it mushy was something I was worried about. I didn't want to overdo it and I'm glad you felt it wasn't overdone! Your tortoise has seriously taken up speed so I think you should stop calling him tortoise now. 😆

I loved that presenting picture of Maan holding the two loved ladies of his life within his reach. One whom he has learnt all form & is responsible for the person he is he supports her and the other who he wants to live together with holding hands forever, and in the background a marriage taking place with happiness all around.

This is the most perfect way to describe what I wanted to present from that scene! 👏

Raya's farewell night with all her new friends was so sweet. She's going to take so many treasured memories with her.

Raya-Geet convo regarding her feelings for Maan and whether to confess or no was very well put together. It shows the practical vision Geet has. I do agree to some extent to Geet's view but then Maan does deserve to know her feelings towards him when he has mostly in indirect ways has made her aware & sure of his feelings. I remember you had said that this marriage is going to be the required catalyst to their feelings & acceptance and yes it did come out well.

I agree. Maan deserves to know what she feels but she is very practical and her viewpoint is different from what you and I might feel. I can just say, let's wait and watch!

Raya's departure gift by Maan was well thought gift by him. He gifted her sweet memories.

I just hope these 3 weeks will set in motion a lot many things that at the end it won't be Geet leaving the mansion with Maan standing waving out to her but it will be Geet entering the mansion with Maan.

This one line of yours struck me with quite a force and I could actually see the two different scenarios you have described...

I loved how beautifully crafted the wedding. The stolen moments, the hand holding, the jitters of Ranbir, the nervousness Maan felt at the addition of a new member, the carefulness of Ranbir when Zara's father was around, the strengthening friendships of Zynah and Raya and all...everything was so natural and it just flowed...
