subhangi latkar to play AB mum in new show

Tellychakkar.com was the first to give our readers the exciting news of Arhaan Behll making his comeback to television with Zee TV's upcoming show, to be produced by FilmFarm India.

After roping in Arhaan, who shot to fame with his character-driven role of Krishna in Star Plus'Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, the makers have now roped in talented Marathi actress Shubhangi Latkar.

A certain section of the media had earlier reported about Ananya Khare playing mother to the male lead Shiv. However, we have been given to understand that not Ananya but Shubhangi – who was last seen on TV in Sahara One's Ganga Ki Dheej – will make her comeback to Hindi TV with this role. She will be playing mother to Arhaan, according to our source.

When contacted, Shubhangi confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, I have signed the contract for the Zee TV show. It is a very interesting character, and I was excited about the fact that I play a Rajasthani lady."

We tried to contact producer Pintoo Guha, but could not reach him.

Shubhangi was recently seen in the movie Aashiqui 2 and has been doing Marathi serials for the past few years.
