My two cents worth -

-> No one had bundled , not the least Archana, Ovi off to Canada. She had left her on own precious self

-> No one can dictate anything to Ovi. She makes her own decisions. Ovi, all grown up in her 22 or 23 years of age decided that she will leave India for her greater good, she did it without consulting her Dad. Ovi on her own decided to claim she is unmarried and sign the same on legal contracts. She on her own decided to divorce Arjun , all big decisions on her own young shoulders.

So, when she is enjoying a free life without the interference of a husband and family and still if she is called a poor innocent victim, I am not ready to buy that.

-> Arjun and Onir are not the same about thinking of past and spoiling the future because Ovi and Purvi are not the same.

Ovi wanted the marriage with Arjun at any cost, walked into marriage with Arjun with open eyes , knowing fully about his past. It was Ovi's fault as well of harping on Arjun's past (that drove him deeper into that world) and not thinking about her future.

However, Purvi's fault has been blindly walking to marriage with a man,well-known or otherwise, in an unknown land.

-> Nothing wrong in the family showing concerns for a missing family member, that too for the one who has lost her face in front of everyone. If the family did not do this, it would have been one more instance of them using Purvi's goodness when it works for them but left her on her own when things do not go right.

For the future track

-> Purvi has should stop advicing Arjun on the divorce. She does not advice Ovi on anything, similarly, Arjun should also be out of bounds for her with respect to his decision on his marital status. Purvi, Cvs - Are you listening?

-> Purvi should start to work and try standing on her own feet. She can still love her family but she should not continue thinking that her existence is solely for the purpose of D and the K clan. Pari can be cared for one of the family when she is off to work.

-> Needless to say, Arjun should decide on what he wants and be his own boss.

-> The family should stand by Ovi's decision on what she wants fpr her future. Archana should embrace Ovi with the same message (as in hospital) that Ovi should face the consequence of her own decisions but as a mother, she will support her and be there whenever Ovi needs her.

Thank you for this post! I too was amazed that suddenly ovi was "shipped" off to the Kaneda by Arman. Ovi wasnt sent off. She left on her own will. She asked/ told Archu she's unhappy in India bc she will see Arvi and pari thus she decided it'll be healthier she leave for her own sake.

Another thing I'm confused about is why Purvi shouldn't react to the Onir betrayal. Is she not a human? She married him after telling him about her pregnancy. And I don't get how it can be interpreted that Purvi doesn't love Onir. She may not be in love with him but she obviously cares for him and loves him. After all, he accepted her. Of course trust being broken hurts.

Onir said shalu left for whatever reason and in that time he met purvi and liked her so he married her. From this I'm thinking onir and shalu aren't divorced.

Wonderful post! 👏
Agree with all your points! Purvi shd not be dependant on the Deshmukhs. In fact I dont want her to go live with them as it would only open up old wounds. Besides there is no more space in that little chawl flat for 8 people plus a baby! 😆 I wonder where Teju, Sachin, Soham sleep? On the couches?
I wonder if Archu was still in coma and Purvi went missing, would the Deshmukhs even care? I bet not, its Archu's maternal love and concern which is forcing them to be concerned and look for Purvi.

Yes, Purvi does have feelings for Onir, she respected, trusted and cared for him as a friend and trusted companion. Of course she is hurt and angry at his deception. People dont realize sex is not the only basis for every relationship. 😆
Shipped off to Kaneda...🤣 Good one! Like shes a packaged goods...did UPS deliver her? 😆
