After Dabangg 2, YJHD Beats Ra.One | Top 10 Highest-Grossing Films At Overseas Box Office
It was reported in our last column that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has crossed Dabangg 2's overseas record during its 3 week run at the Overseas Box Office. But now, brand R.K has beaten the global box office record of the indomitable Badshah of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan too.
We had predicted that the film's growth might get hindered and hence it would be unable to meet the collections of SRK starrer Ra.One. But its swooping speed at earning has remained constant in the last few weeks despite staunch competition!
Post its 3 Week successful run, YJHD now stands at a total of 56.30 crores at the global box office. The film that has so far earned USD 9.87 million has beaten the lifetime income of Ra.One which had raked up USD 9.20 million. It takes quite a lot of potential to oust a film of an actor who has 6 out of 10 films of the Koimoi Top 10 Overseas Collections List, and YJHD has done just done that.

Deceiving the expectations that Man Of Steel will deter the growth of YJHD, the film for its typical Bollywood content remained rock steady at the Box Office. The film is now eyeing to beat SRK's Om Shanti Om whose lifetime overseas collections rest at USD 10.08 million. Going by YJHD income rate, it is quote plausible that by next weekend the film will surpass OSO as well.
YJHD is now the 8th Highest Grossing Bollywood Film at the Overseas Front.
