I am in awe with Dilshad today...I am not in favor of slapping a grown son though ...her words were powerful enough but what I am extremely relieved to see her standing there for Zoya ...she stood there firm supporting the girl who she loves like her own...she stood there feeling Zoya's pain of abandonment and betrayal...she stood there as Zoya's guardian instead of Asad's ammi.
Dilshad is a woman who stands up for the truth and the truth was right in front of her...she saw Zoya's pain and allegations and Asad's confirming the allegations by not saying a word in his defense by walking in with Tanu just like a couple caught doing the deed...confirming that it was a consensual act.
Dilshad is not a woman who would bail out her son if he committed a sin but she is a woman who would stand by the truth and defend the truth. Please remember Asad had no reason to walk in with Tanveer...but he did...he still prioritized her over everyone. Maybe if he would have left his Tannu for once and followed Zoya things would have been different...maybe if he had assured Zoya and Dilshad that he could have never cheated on Zoya things would have been different...but he didn't...he stood there once again beside Tanveer confirming that it was consensual.
Dilshad had no reason to defend him.
