The characters are flawed in all levels. They hear everything, they see everything still they don't believe in everything. Ram knows his sister is mad and how bad she can be when she is mad, yet he is siding with her so are other family members. He knows that she is being manipulated by Ayesha yet he was playing along with. Next is Priya she knows how mad Nutz can get and how Ram can be for his sis. She should have expected people to be watching the orphanage. Why would she take the baby to Kartik without informing anyone, specially when he had ran away once to avoid the police. If she wanted to talk sense, she could have done that without taking the baby I would rather say taken police with her and got him arrested if she was so in favor of Nutz or even justice for that matter but no after all he is her brother. Third is Kartik he gets manipulated by what is said by Ayesha for heaven's sake? Even if Priya would have brought Police with her, still he should expect that as she is supposed to side with who is right. But then he can always say that she also escaped in spite of being ruled guilty.

Everything in this sequence is understandable except in (5) why didn't Priya go alone to talk to Karthik, Her convincing him to admit his mistake and own up/take responsibility had nothing to do with her taking the kid to him without telling anybody.
