So I haven't watched QH for like a month and today I decided to watch it so I can add to the "Story So Far" thread. So I was watching it and then came onto today's episode, and my heart broke into a million pieces. Not because Asad was taken advantage of by Tanveer (because face it, it was expected) but because of the whole cinematography.
Everything seemed so happy, so normal. And then the build up by using the Dargah song was just brilliant. God, even I felt shaky watching Zoya! Normally, I dislike using songs in the middle of a scene and especially a big scene, but this was executed brilliantly! There, the "happy" moment with Dilshad bringing in Rashid and Najma bringing in her siblings, and then Ayaan and Zoya's small conversation. Who knew things would become so so worse? And then the other side with Asad taken advantage of by Tanveer just as Zoya began to feel restless - I god, if that didn't make you teary, I wouldn't know what would! I don't believe Tanveer did actually rape Asad but merely looked like she did - but either way it was still to hurt Zoya.
So many turmoils and tests have been in the way of Asad&Zoya's path, and this is one more; and knowing Zoya, she will not rest until Tanveer's truth is out, because Asad was innocent all along, and Zoya knows that but she doesn't know how it happened.
Anyway, as much as the plot was sad and emotional, I liked this episode.
