They are showing Akbar to negative. If they wants to show Akbar was creul thats fine but showing Akbar never respected women, thats something I not ready to believe.

same hea!!! Akbar wasnt that negative, i just read somewhere that he was very caring towards his subjects!!!! All this is hard to digest... 🤢

Yes, its looks like we are watching Aurangzeb in Akbar. They need to change this soon otherwise, too much negative Akbar may kill the show.

When he was young, he was more cruel but with time he was more caring towards his public but here young Akbar is too negative.

even im confused in jodha Akbar film they showed Akbar very kind and repectable towards women I agree he was cruel I read somewhere but he never respect women is difficult for me also to digest, they r potraying him like king Aurangzeb even he was same

I agree...people need to identify with the character...the common man already has the image of Akbar as portrayed by Hrithik ...too many negative variations and people might not accept it..😕

I think they are modifying the characters, but he is nt being shown that cruel, because he left that woman!

acc. to sum hindus & rajputs akbar was cruel & disrespectful towards women. i am also not ready to believe tht, but maybe PH is trying to please the rajputs, who believe tht he was like tht. many rajputs say tht akbar had more thn 5000 women in his haram. but i think they r trying to show bairam khan's influence on akbar. but yes today's part was not necessary. this might give rise to another controversy.😕

Well Babur, humayan, Timur all of them were cruel. The world famous historian, Will Durant has written in his Story of Civilisation that "the Mohammedan conquest of India was probably the bloodiest story in history".

No one really knows who Jodha was anyways. Her name has never come up in any of the books that were written like the akbar i nama etc. She is however believed to be Mariam uz Zamani, who was greatly influential. Some people even believe that she was Jahangir's wife.

The Mughals had destroyed temples and forcefully converted many Hindus (Which played a role in the emergence of Sikhism). The worst ever massacre was of the Hindus during the medieval times. Timur massacred some 1 lakh Hindus on a single day in Delhi in 1399. Nadirshah, the invader, massacred many people in 1739 in Delhi. The massacres of Hindus in medieval India would have put Hitler's Nazi death-chambers of the 1930s to shame.

Akbar later on however, did emerge into a benevolent and respected ruler.
