More Active Mods?!

This is not really something related to the show but to the forum. Last night, I was randomly banned from making posts. And it was super annoying cuz I wanted to reply to all the posts on my thread. I got an error message. So I wrote to one of the mods:

Hey there,

I tried to reply to a post and I got the following message:

Error: Message Not Posted

Your current Warning Level prevents you from making more than 5 posts per day. Kindly contact your forum Moderator for reduction.

I would appreciate if you could help me with this. Please note that whatever warnings I got were about 2-3 years ago during the days of Miley Jab Hum Tum on StarOne.

It's been 24 hrs and the concerned mod has not even opened my PM. I am not pinpointing the mod, so I don't need to mention his/her name. I mean s/he could very well be busy like any one of us. All I am trying to say is don't you all think we need more active mods in the forum? I had seen people complaining about the inactivity of the mods before but I just experienced its consequences. Am I the only one who has had this problem?

People with 40 WL or more isn't allow to make more than 5 posts per day.

But here's the thing.. I have never had this problem before.. Why all of a sudden? I made tens of posts a day on SI's birthday thread but never saw this message. Besides, I think the rules say that my WL should be reduced by now cuz it's been more than 2 years. Well that's besides the point actually. My purpose behind making this post was to say that we need some active mods. See if I got a reply in time regardless of what it might have been, I would have never made this post.

The rules been change since weeks ago.

Sonya, u should be sorted in a little while i guess..
cz there is another rule on IF that whenever a forum closes the WLs associated with the forum goes away completely.

but here the show ended over 2.5 years ago. And despite the forum being active in your own case u should get a reduction. Talk to Aahaana.
She will sort it out for u..

As for replies to the PMs we leave them..

Well I have sent one related to MIDs over 10 days back and am yet to get a reply.

But anyway in ur own case u should have the WL completely stripped off. They will help when they see the reply..

n ya lol across IF mods r out till 2 more weeks or so.. so no moderation is happening n therefore i guess some automatic systems have overridden regular controls n probably kicked in to place :)
