Sonu, Borisagars are more interesting, because they all have their idiosyncrasies, and are all a little warped. I love the Sarabhai family too, they are just a very normal family.

Lots of good actors are in the show, and they all haven't yet got their scope to show their range. Sanaya, Supriya, Anuj .. the actors playing Manthan and Ranjana ... Kaumudi was very bland till now, I thought she was just UB's mouthpiece, but suddenly she has become interesting ...

The actress playing Sanjana was in PSH, and she played a negative character there, seeing her dumb role here, I have to say she is also very good ... a big contrast to her earlier role ... Anang Desai is good ... so are the three elder actors in the Sarabhai clan. So the show is full of good actors ... hope all of them get enough scope and we will be in for an interesting ride. They have a good range too, from silly and funny, to frankly evil ... it's not all doom and gloom, nor is it out and out comedy, it's a good mix. All said and done, now that the acting is uniformly good, Chhanchhan is one of the more watchable shows on air these days.

Lovely analysis of an awesome episode Diya. Poor CC has barely stepped foot inside the Borisagar home and UB's plans to oust her as soon as possible have already begun. Ranjana will be the catalyst that UB will focus on to make the situation boil not because she's bad just that she's self centered and immature. Manthan is already aware that things aren't quite as hunky dory as UB is trying to show they are and I'm eager to see how his character is intertwined in the story. He obviously wants to win brownie points and is only on the lookout for himself. Mind you it doesn't seem as though UB needs too much support -how did she manage to convince everyone that it's ok for Manav to get blessings for his marriage from their Kul Devi by himself?? Surely that needs to be done with both husband and wife there. How clever of UB to send Kaumadi, the one person who can guide CC, away..but UB has underestimated our CC and I'm waiting for her to shine even without Kaumadi.
