Beginning:
There was a hustle bustle in the whole school since the nervousness was on peek of the students for the results. Everyone gathered in the Hall and Stood in their lines, with their fingers Crossed sending silent prayers to their God. Hopes were on its climax.
Anjali and her friends stood their giving each other hopeful glances, When their Teacher came forward to announce the result of her class.. One by One she started taking the names of the students who achieved the best marks..
"Anjali Sharma" the teacher announced with pride.
"Shayam Jha"
"Aman Malhotra"
"Lavanya Kashyap" came the next name.
After receiving their results, Lavanya and Anjali shared a moment together and looked back at their friend who they were expecting to be the next high flier but the One, who stood with her head down looking at the floor with a shine of will in her eyes but not hope for the present.. Khushi. She was indeed the best at everything but not always expecting it to be rewarded. She looked back at her friends and gave then a warm smile as if congratulating. And lavanya mouthed "it's a Girl next" to her to which Payal, who was standing at Khushi's back started jumping in excitement'
"and the Last but not the least although before I announce I would like to say something about her" hearing a 'her' Khushi and Payal shared a surprised look expecting it to be each other and teacher continued, "From the first day of the year I've seen a shine in her eyes of winning and today she proved it to me.. to be honest I didn't expected her to show such a big improvement that she covered up all the areas she lacked in a year not letting a minor mistake to be left out & with this she have made a big place in her all teacher's heart.. She is'" teacher paused again to hear the guesses coming from the students and finally announced, "Khushi Gupta"
The group sat their remembering their Last results day before going for holidays..
"Finally the vacations ended! *Pheeew* I missed you all so much" Payal exclaimed hugging her friends.
"hey Anyways, Why hasn't lavanya Came today?" Shayam enquired.
"She is still outta city. Btw, why are you asking about her?" Payal asked narrowing her eyes at Shayam to which Shayam smiled.
"Don't worry Shayam.. Anjali is still present today" Akash winked at Payal. Getting a death glare from Anjali in return.
"Hey Guys.. I've news!" Nk announced.
"Good or Bad?" Khushi asked sharing known looks with Anjali.
"Uum.. You can consider it both." Nk cleared.
"Speak up Nk!" Akash demanded.
"We've a new fellow coming." He unfolded the news.
In reply Khushi and Anjali both shouted in union... "WHAT!"
