He was sitting in his garden, reading the news paper,
when she brought him a steaming hot cup of tea...

"Ye lijiye... Aapki adhrakwali chai"

he put aside a newspaper,
took in the aroma and sipped...

"hmm... Barsso beet gaye magar tumhari chai aaj bhi lajawab hai"

saying so he took her hand and pecked it...
She blushed, snatched it away.

They both turned around to see their grandchildren Ameer age 15 & Sasha age 19,
standing behind them.
They pulled the kids onto their laps and started tickling them.

She was in her cabin packing her stuff,

finally the day was over...

she was excited,

tomorrow was sunday AND her birthday,

she had thrown a little party,

all the inviting business was also done, even Arjun sir had agreed to come.

But...

HE was left,

she couldnt gather herself to invite him,

just seeing him made her go weak on her knees...

but she had to invite him na..

plan execute jo karna tha.

she went to his cabin and knocked.

'Come in'

she enered

'Arrey Aisha, gayi nahi abhi tak?'

'bas jaa hi rahi thi sir

umm.. woh uhh.. sirr...'

'kya hua bolo.'

she took a deep breath.

'um.. sir.. kal wo mera birthday hai..

agar aap...

u kno aa paate'

'umm soo sorry Aisha...

kal DCP sir k saath meeting hai..

im really sorry..

and Happy birthday in advance'

he gave her an apologetic look,

meanwhile she was feelin broken,

controlling herself she said

'thank u sir,

she turned to leave n was just out of the door,

when he called,

'Aisha! ruko!

at that, he smiled,

and she left.

NEXT DAY

she woke up early morning, did all the arrangements,

and waited for evening to come...

and finally it came and with it came Shree Liza Saakshi n Chotu,

they bought her pretty gifts,

Chotu gifted her a huge box of chocolates, And a RayBan sunshades.

Liza, gifted her, her favorite perfume,

Saakshi, a hand bag,

and Shree being Shree gifted a total new iphone with latest, and some his own created software,

she thanked them all.

they were chit chatting, when Arjun came,

he too bought her a gift..

a Titan watch,

'Happy bday Aisha... Samay ki ehmiat karna..

dua karunga k tum hamesha khush raho..'

'thank u sir,

its beautiful...'

she served them snacks..

and continuously peeped out of the window,

this wasnt unnoticed by Arjun

unable to take it anymore,

she went to the door and opened it.

noone was there...

seeing her like this Arjun followd,

'Rathor ka intezar karrahi ho?

dont worry aajayega.'

she gave a faint smile and returned with him..

at around 10 every had dinner,

she ate reluctantly..

all praised her food,

she cut the cake

they stayed a little more,

and at about 10.30 all left.

in no mood to clear the things she let them be,

and went t her room,

and cried, and cried, and cried

on her special day, when she wanted him close, he wasnt there,

she couldnt stop herself and fell asleep while crying

she looked at the clock, 1.20am

she went to the door, and peeped through the hole,

all black,

she got a bit scared and picked up the vase as a weapon and slowly opened the door.

it was HIM..

his sight flared her up, opening the door, she put down the vase, and moved inside...

gritting her teth she said..

'Yes sir! itni raat ko kya chahte hai aap? the party is over'

'umm.. Sorry Aisha. u have the right to be angry...wo mai..'

she cut him short, forgetting that he was her Boss,

she just vented her heart out..

'Right! what right? aakhir lagti hi kya hu mai aapki? kis haq se gussa karu? aapko maine invite kia, aur aap nahi aaye... as simple as that,

what importance do i hold that u will come?'
