Today's party epi

Archana – looked every bit the mother. Ankita's expressions as she looked doubtfully at Purvi's face when Onir was talking to Archana at the party – spot on; her hesitant pride about Soham, heart-warming.

Onir – felt bad for the poor guy. Shakti looked good in today's epi both in the suit and the red shirt. He is truly a noble guy if he is putting on this extended charade for the sake of his mishti.

Shalini – is beginning to grow on me, sloppily cut bangs and all!

Gauri – looked prettier in Friday's epi at home with Purvi than today. Her lengthy explanations of how this family means a lot 'cos it is her first big case at every turn, is a total turn off.

Manav – as nutty as ever, crazy over his wife, stubbornly opinionated about everything else.

Savita – loved her threatening Soham "ghar aa ja".

Arjun - poor guy, his repeat dialogues are getting a bit boring. He is capable of infinitely more, hope he gets his just dues soon.

Purvi – not much to say except she looked pretty decent in her party clothes, rather she looked very pretty in those clothes.

Teju – was Teju in those harem pants of hers.

Damodar – as useless as ever.

Varsha – her constant references to "wo ghar mein" is irritating, if it had not been for her, the boy would have been rightly Manav's son, suits and all.

DK – his job was to pop that bottle today and stare at Gauri. He did that well sans his moustache, sadly.

Soham – he stole the show today. He was effortlessly admirable in all the nuances he portrayed – angry young man (Gauri), devoted son (Varsha), bewildered ruffian (Savita), sauve, sweet son of a tycoon (Archana & guests), protective brother (Teju& Purvi), & doting uncle (Pari).

Thanks :) Soham is a sweetie-pie, hope Manav comes around soon. Savita is already falling for this pota of hers. Even her Ghar aa ja didn't sound too threatening and her muh do kar jana after throwing water at him in yesterday's epi sounded very Aaji like!

Hi Janhvi, Good post. Agree with all your comments. Purvi looked quite pretty especially @Onir's place when she was putting the pretty little socks on Pari and getting her ready. If only she can get rid of the horrible hairstyle!

Archana could look at Purvi for few seconds and gauge that there is something wrongandsomething beyondthe sadness resulting fromreceiving the cold-shoulder from her mom. Ankita-Asha has an excellent chemistry as mom and daughter on the shown.

It is very difficult to imagine Soham as once-upon-a-time-goonda, he was so sweet at many places and quite protective towards Teju and Purvi. Arjun's dialogues are horribly repetitive seems in an infinite loop. When can we see the old Arjun back, sigh?

Onir is very apologetic towards his Mishti. He and Shalini do make a cute pair. Given that he is going to be roughened up in the party, Ido feel horribly bad if he was putting up the act but I think there is some truth in his relationship with Shalini.

Overall a pleasant episode,more drama and thappads to follow suit in the coming days.

Vasu, yes it was a pleasant episode, liked it except for that Jodha Akbar bit :) yesterday's epi was the calm before the storm. Today will be the dramebaaz episode. Of all the people yesterday, felt bad the most for Onir. Shalini dropped the keys on purpose, I think, but can't the CVs ever come up with a different way to reveal secrets than ruin happy times at family parties? Sigh.

I don't really know if I feel bad for Onir yet. If he truly is a bigamist then no. What was the need to have Shalini over? That is what I do not get... Why was she there?
If he is doing this to reunite ArVi then I hope that he finds someone for himself who loves him back. Want ArVi back together because they love each other and for Pari.
I wish him to be grey because either extremes are too hard to believe for me.

My gut tells me (I could be way off) that Onir is deliberately putting on this naatak for Purvi. He is no charlatan, he truly loves Purvi and is pretending to be married to Shalini. Shalini might be a close friend of Onir's and she lends credence to his false story. I would prefer that than Purvi being married to a bigamist. Things couldn't go that wrong with a good person. Either way, the end result would be Arjun and Purvi getting back together if Ms. Ovi serves the papers. I do not believe Arjun will initiate divorce proceedings against Ovi. Purvi would never agree to marry Arjun unless the divorce came from Ovi.

I think you may be right because when Purvi cut Arjun's call he started to tell if her your angry with me then why are you doing this to Arjun?

Like I've said befoer in other posts, the party is not for Archana, the Deshmukhs need a public fora to wash their dirty laundry. They constantly need public fora to out so called secrets and humiliate a family member, normally Purvi. So one more party one more humiliation. What nonsense!😡
