Actually, some people do have allergy to it.

I know for sure because I have an aunt who has an allergy to it, she couldn't even put it on for her own wedding.

I am going to guess its rare, but...

First time asad saw her: Aassuaon se ghiri dua maang rahi thi : did he not remember that while wiping her tears she had mehendi on her hand ... Kuch to doubt hua aisa dikha sakte the
