So after seeing all the negatives of Karthik like one who back-stabbed his wife and had a baby with another lady in secret while keeping his status a secret from her as well, today he redeemed himself by first agreeing to turn himself in and then when he saw his sister unwell,instead of running away to supposed safety, he ran back to get her.
The memory he has left behind in Priya's and viewers' mind should shame a husband like Ram when he put his sister above everything while the husband who has till now been projected as someone to sympathise with for having lost his chance of being with his wife when she had their first child, did not consider the precarious situation he was putting her in with all the high stress he his family and her family were putting her through and did not come to her even when told that she is not well.
