Shah Rukh Khan in trouble over sex determination

Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri, who are reportedly expecting a third child through surrogacy, have landed into trouble. As the radiologists' association has asked the state health department to inquire into news reports claiming that actor's child through surrogacy is a boy.

Though the report has not been confirmed by the actor or by his spokesperson but it suggested that it was Gauri's idea to go for the child through surrogacy.

However, recent report published by a leading publication suggests Indian Radiological and Imaging Associations has demanded clarity on the issue.

"We have written to the state health department to find out how the actor came to know about the unborn child's sex when sex determination is illegal in India," leading publication quoted Dr Jignesh Thakkar, coordinator for the Pre-Conception Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, IRIA, as saying.

In the email sent to the top state health department officials, including state health minister Suresh Shetty, IRIA has asked for an investigation and action against those concerned.

Doctors say there is a breach of law on the part of celebrities. "If news reports are true then it is a clear that the celebrities can get away with breaking the law," said Thakker.

OMGGG wat a article, again in trouble this time with out him confirming if they r really having thier thrid child through surrogacy i still think why the media/reporter are waiting to ask this question to srk, like they ask so many other nonsense question to srk during the interview so why not this IMPORTANT question. shahrukh has been giving interviews alot these days.

I think its about time SRK clear up to media before they come up with something worse!!!

but srk didnt say its a boy. thats what the media is reporting., and who knows the media could have called up some nurse from the fertility clinic and paid her to tell them. or they might have just said its a boy out of nowhere , 50/50 chance

Shahrukh def needs to come clean on this issue. Time for him to speak up. I don't want my jaanu landing in any sort of trouble! :(

True...SRK never said he is going to have a boy...but even say nurse leaked the report that Doctor needs to go in jail because they did sex-determination.

SRK never clarified to BMC officials who went to his house. He was MIA...I am pretty sure he is India..taking rest after his shoulder operation...

SRK's silence on this issue is the problem...maybe he thinks its a good publicity stunt for his new movie CE...and he might say after one week that he is not even having third baby..

Female Foeticide is a huge problem in India..SRK being a public figure should be little bit more sensitive about this issue though. He can easily say to media even now he is not involved and nurse leaked the news...now that could spell trouble for the hospital/doctor if it is in India...

its legal here in canada...im sure in other countries as well...

if the surrogacy is true...MAYBE they could have done the tests abroad...its nothing major for them...maybe they consulted with a doctor abroad with their tests, even if they didnt get the tests done abroad...

i dont think srk will be in trouble for this...😕

Everyone is jumping the gun here. SRK didnt actually give a statement that he is having a baby boy thru surrogacy.
