I think its already been said..i believe it was Nafs who said it...so far leading up to this track..sultan's character wasn't required to give more than the stoic, angry or stony looks...but you know...there have been many hints to the contrary...for eg.

-His reassurance and empathy when padmini was beside herself with worry and panic
-When he was shot and aaryan was worried but his relationship with aaryan hadn't sofened yet...that scene outside when he straightens aaryans shirt and then hugs him...look at his face!😊

- There was a lot of sadness on his face and esp his eyes when he was alone and he used to recall his dead wife

I think for all the cribbing on this forum about ppl watching this show coz its different, most are so jaded and used to watching the usual OTT facial expressions and spoonfed, that the more restrained and subtle show of emotions doesn't register with them! Only the grand and obvious. Maybe that is why they have thus far missed the subtlness of what vd too shows sometimes...when he shows the rk psychopathy but subtly!
