Fanfic Preview: Jai and Bani came out of a very bad relationships and decided that they have given up on love. Both believe in love and secretly hope that someday they can find someone to cherish this happiness with.
Then fate smiles upon them, set by their friends on a blind date, they come to slowly find out that not all love begins at first sight. Some take time.
As they slowly fall in love, what happens is a absolutely hilarious and laugh riot as they keep ending up in front of each other when the love bites them then all hell breaks loose.
Sorry, this looks like a synopsis more than a introduction but wait you are going to surprised, stunned, mesmerized by our lead pair. So prepare yourself completely to loose your mind, body and soul in the world of Jai-Bani.
Character Sketch-
Jai Walia- Jai Walia, man is 35 years old is the business tycoon and the owner of the Walia Industry. A complete romantic at heart. A complete movie buff always has a song on his lips and keeps singing everytime he sees a beautiful girl. Loves his family and is waiting to meet the girl who will make him happy and complete his exsistence.
Bani Dixit- Bani Dixit, 27 years old. Upcoming business woman, Owns her own PR and Event Management Company. A complete romantic at heart. Has a infectious smile that can melt a glacier in a hearbeat. She loves her books and always like to read romantic novels. She is a movie buff and has a habit of telling herself to marry every good looking guy she passes by. Loves her family and hopes she will meet her prince charming one day.
Ranveer Walia- The younger brother of Jai Walia. Loves Jai to death. Wants to see Jai happy at any cost and decides to set Jai-Bani on a date. He takes the help of his older sister Jigayaasa. And she helps Ranveer in this mission.
Jiggs Walia- She is the oldest of the three sibling. She is the older to both Jai and Ranveer. After her parents early death she decided not to marry to ensure that both Jai and Ranveer had a secure future and are well settled in life. She is in love with Jai's best friend Aditya but is scared to confess her love for him.
Aditya Kohli- Jai's best friend and is close to the Walia family. He has helped Jiggs throughout whenever she has needed it, he has been there for her. Aditya is head over heals in love with Jiggs and wants to marry her but is afraid of rejection. And has left it to fate. Will fate finally smile on him, he is waiting to see that.
Raashi Dixit- The eldest of the Dixit sisters. She is sweet and caring. She is the oldest among the Dixit sisters and has taken care of Bani and Rano after their parents early demise. She is elder to Bani and Rano. They are known as, "The Three Musketeers" all of them are so fun-loving and always play prank on each other. And one day love bites Raashi when she sees Ranveer for the first time. Will she be able to get the love of her life?
Rano Dixit- The youngest of the Dixit sisters and the most mischievous of them. She is young at heart. Enjoys her freedom and a modern woman in every way except in the matters of the heart. Her life changes the moment she sees Pushkar for the first time.
Pushkar Shukla- He is like a son to Jai Walia. Pushkar gives him the respect of a elder brother. He is close to Jai, Ranveer and Jiggs. Jiggs is very possessive of Pushkar and so is Ranveer. They always ensure that Pushkar does not feel left out and hence Pushkar stays with them at the Walia house.
Rest of the characters will come as the story progresses.
Prelude-
Jai Walia woke up in the arms of the woman that was his life and the reason of his existence. He looked at Bani who looked so comfortable in his arms. He still could not believe that he had ended up marrying Bani and the love that they felt for each other could never be questioned.
Jai Walia knew this was the first day of the 2008. This holiday season had changed his life forever I mean it had happened so far. He thought of the past and looking at Bani smiled knowing how they met and what happened after that.
He still could not believe that he had proposed to Bani on live television and goose bumps came as he thought how close he had come to loosing Bani forever.
As he was thinking this, he saw his new bride and wife blinking her eyes open and when Jai realized that she was looking his way.
He smiled and she smiled back, that smile had taken his breath away when he had seen her for the first time, he corrected himself almost saw her.
Bani was also looking at Jai Walia, the man she loved and wanted to cherish for the rest of her life. The man was a enigma for her.
She remembered the time when she had see this handsome man for the first time and how her heart just leaped out to get to him. Bani smiled at the thought.
As the flashes of the past kept coming to both of them they drifted back to sleep nestled in each other's arms. And flash kept playing in their dreams like a movieā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦.

Jai Walia got out of his black Merc. Yet again, his heart had been broken to pieces. He was completely shattered. He had a bottle of Chivas Regal in his hand standing at the Marine Drive where cool breeze hit his face, he kept thinking why life always had to give him the raw deal?
Will he never be able to find true love?
I mean Jai Walia, the business tycoon who had the world at his feet. People eating out of his palms. The man could shake government officials if and when required but could not shake the feeling that he was finding himself all alone in the holiday season.
He always use to say to himself, "Life sucks and then you die."
Oh !!! Well!!! Looks like I am going to be alone for the rest of my life.
Just then he heard a very warm smile coming his way. He turned around and saw a woman smiling and talking to someone.
Jai could barely see her face as her hair fell on the side of her face and he could not see her but he could see her smile and felt something move in his heart.
It felt weird that a smile could steer up his heart. And immediately a song came to his mind, from Pardes, "Zara tasveer se nikal kar mere samna toh aah meri mehbooba."
Bani Dixit was in the same boat as Jai Walia. She was coming out of a bad relationship. She had cried herself for the first five days. And then her sisters had taken her out on Christmas eve so that her surrounding could change.
She was talking to them and not smiled once in 5 days. That was not Bani Dixit the woman was alive and full of live.
Bani kept looking around her and suddenly found herself staring at a man who was well-built and tall 6'1. Dressed in a black Armani suit with his top two buttons of the shirt open, the coat folded on his shoulder and his sleeves completely rolled up.
He had a bottle in his left hand and everytime he gulped that bottle his Omega Watch glistened under the moon light the man looked like a hero out of a fairy tale romance and Bani found herself saying, "Wish u were mine."
And then she started smiling and then laughing all of a sudden astonishing and making both her sisters happy at the sametime. For the life in them neither Rano or Raashi could understand what changed her mood.
But they were happy that her mood had changed in a heartbeat.
She wanted to see his face so much but the man at the very moment turned away from him. He was a man right from the books of her pages of her romantic novel waiting for her it seemed to her.
At the very moment Bani looked at the sky saw a million stars shining down on her and agreeing with what she was saying. The moon also seem to be happy with her. She smiled and she looked a angel at the very moment.
And then Bani and Jai saw the shooting star at the same time in the sky both wished for love and happiness and both also wished if they could have each other for the rest of their lives. They had no clue that all hell breaks loose when your wish comes true and they were about to find out.
Jai turned to go back to his car and drive back home. It was late and he had seen 8 missed calls from Jiggs. As he was walking back to his car at the very moment Bani turned around.
As Jai looked her way his mobile went off for the 9th time that night and he knew if he did not take this call he was a sitting duck. Jai Walia picked up his sisters call.
Bani also saw the man turned around and wanted to see him but as she was concentrating on looking at him the very moment Raashi called her and she turned around and went to her sister.
After Jai Walia finished his call he walked to his car and Bani was coming her way and both passed each other without even glancing at each other as Jai was still busy on his call and Bani was talking to her sisters.
Part II ā The Mask Dance That Had Left Both of Them Wanting & Gasping for Each Other.
31st December,
New Years Eve,
Hotel Grand Hyatt,
New Year's Party,
The entire Mumbai was down to bring down the year 2007 together. Grand Hyatt which was at the suburbs of Mumbai was famous for hosting New Year's bash with events and surprise especially catered to the business class priced intelligently as a New Year's package.
This year the Grand Hyatt had given the contract to the Dixit Event Management Company with Bani controlling the event and was at the helm of it. Even Raashi and Rano were helping Bani out.
All the three sisters use to run the Event Management Company and their rise had been gradual but now with the word of mouth out of them being able to cater any event for the most economical budget lately they seem to be getting a lot of business.
Jai Walia with Ranveer, Pushkar, Jiggs and Aditya came to the event. He was not in a mood but then when Jiggs asked him he did not want to spoil her mood just because he felt low. Maybe he will find someone here who he could cherish for the rest of his life.
The ballroom of Hyatt was decorated in a lavish style looked like a movie set.
The theme this year was "Bollywood Style". As Jai Walia entered the ballroom he saw that the entire ballroom had movie posters right from the early 40's to the latest movies recently released.
There was a live band and a DJ.
The centre of the room had a dance floor laid where some people were beginning to jive. As he looked around he saw the place he was looking for it was the bar. Since the ballroom could be divided into three rooms and now it was one. So strategically three bars had been placed and they were already doing a very brisk business.
As Jai went to the bar close to the courtyard of Grand Hyatt he saw there was a huge buffet laid out. In fact there was three buffets, one in the courtyard, one at the foyer as you entered the rooms and one to the furthest of the last room.
Live Tandoor was set up at the courtyard and on the outside of the other foyer.
The ballroom was set with balloons which formed a VIBGYOR just as the rainbow. It just looked so lively. The servers dressed smartly in black pants white shirts, a black vest and a bow tie. On the left hand of the vest was the name tag. These servers had white gloves on their hands which ensured a VIP service. They were serving snacks, drinks all over the place.
Bani was standing at the centre of the room looking at the situation. She had a wireless headset on her right ear from where she could control not only the flow of service but also check with her sisters if all was well.
There was also a surprise planned as the last dance bringing the new year would be "mask dance."
As Bani circled the room she was always fascinated so many people out to have a good time and here she was working on New Year's eve when she should have been with her love enjoying his company.
Oh!! Well, that is life she said to herself and moved towards the courtyard as Jai tuned around at the same time to mingle and make his presence felt in the room as if that was required.
Jai Walia was a man who created history and not the other way around. As Bani and Jai moved towards each other and would have come face to face when Jai was pulled up by his old friend Tarun Sablok who had not met Jai for sometime now.
As Jai turned to face Tarun Bani walked right across from where he was standing just seconds before a delayed reaction and they would have met. But then fate had other plans for them it seemed.
The live band started playing music from Bollywood movies. Jai Walia was a man with many faces. He was a decent dancer and a amazing singer which was known across Mumbai. He crooned mostly sad numbers and gazals but never romantic songs. His songs were more about love gone bad rather than about falling in love.
The night kept passing and people were dancing but Jai Walia kept searching the crowd but found himself lonely and empty without the love of his life. But then how do you find love he said to himself or is that it finds you? He did not care as long as he found the person he was meant to be with and that is what mattered to him the most.
Ranveer, Jiggs Pushkar and Aditya were enjoying themselves on the dance floor.
Jai was standing and looking around.
It was 11:45pm when the mask dance was announced and everyone got the masks and they wore it and then the lights went out. The people in the ballroom were told that this would be a dance where the partners will keep switching and when the clock strikes midnight whoever is with the current partner at the dawn of the New year will have the first dance of the Year 2007.
Bani, Raashi and Rano also wore the masks. And then the dance started as all of them kept switching partners one after the other. And then the clock struck midnight as Bani fell in the arms of Jai Walia, Raashi saw Ranveer for the first time, Rano saw Pushkar and Jiggs-Aditya came in front of each other.
Jai Walia was stunned looking at the woman in front of her. She smiled and Jai found himself humming, "Ek Ladki ko dekha to aisa laga" and Bani wanted to propose marriage to the man standing in front of them. He looked familiar to her but she could not place him and Bani looked familiar to Jai.
An instant connection could be felt between them as if they had known each other for centuries, feelings stirred up in both of their hearts feeling which they never knew they had.
The scene was no better when Ranveer-Raashi saw each other. Both kept looking at each other and time stood still for them. Both were blushing. Ranveer seem to blush more than Raashi and she found that funny and enchanting at the same time. But both of them just could not keep their eyes off each other.
When Pushkar-Rano saw each other both felt a tingling sensation in their hearts as it was on fire. Pushkar and Rano kept stealing glances at each other both afraid to look at each other directly and it seemed so odd to both of them.
Aditya-Jiggs saw themselves in front of each other and they both knew who it was. Jiggs was looking at Aditya and he looked back at her. The passion and love which was in their hearts could be seen in their eyes and they danced slowly without taking eyes of each other. It was quite mesmerizing.
And then everyone shouted "Happy New Year" in the midst of balloons and stringers descending from above all the four pairs just stood there.
The music played a song from Raja Hindustani,
"Aaye ho meri zindagi main tum bahar ban kar,
Mere dil main rehna tum pyar pyar banker."
Jai and Bani were dancing so close to each other one sudden movement and they would have ended claiming each other's lips and full blown smooch would not have surprised them one bit.
As the song came to an end all the people slowly walked away from the dance floor and the music stopped but the four pairs of Jai-Bani, Ranveer āRaashi, Pushkar-Rano and Aditya-Jiggs were still dancing when the sudden applause got them out of the trance which had taken over them.
Next thing, Jai found himself standing alone as Bani smiled thanked him for the dance and walked away before Jai Walia could even say anything. Jai slapped himself and said, "Nice going Jai, Nice u do not even know her name."
As did Ranveer and Pushkar found themselves left on the dance floor. Jiggs and Aditya just stood watching what just had happened?
The dance had left Jai and Bani gasping and wanting each other more than anything.
Jai and Bani smiled thinking looks like there is still chance at love after all.
Ranveer and Pushkar smiled and said well we will find who they were and hugged each other and went for a drink.
Jai Walia was in another world transported by the sudden appearance of this girl who seemed to have taken his breath away.
The smile could have melted a stone and he was just a human being. He could not take that smile out of his mind. It had installed itself in his mind and Jai Walia knew he would not be the same anymore.
Though he knew maybe he will never find her but then you never know.
Bani Dixit was seeing herself in the mirror of the ladies restroom. As she took off her mask she saw her face in the mirror it was completely flushed with red. Bani was feeling goosebumps take place all over her body. A dance could have such an effect she did not know.
She had to calm her nerves down her heart was galloping at a pace which she never knew it could ride.
She threw cold water on her face to get her control back. She knew what she wanted to do was futile as she was still in a daze and shock from the way her body and heart had reacted to the touch of that man.
The scene with Raashi and Rano was not any different. They could not believe that they had fallen in love with someone they did not know. Was it love? Or just an attraction that happened getting caught in the heat of the moment? Whatever it was they decided they wanted to pursue this.
It was 2am in the morning when the Walia family left back for home. As Jai was driving since Ranveer-Pushkar were completely drunk and were blabbering something.
Both were sitting in the back seat with Jiggs giving them a piece of her mind as they even knew what she was telling them. Aditya was sitting with Jai Walia when Jai did something he had not done in a long time. He switched on FM radio and put on Radio Mirchi.
And then a new song from the movie Guru came, Dum Duma Dum Mast Oh Humdum Bin tere kya jeena. And the next thing Aditya āJiggs saw was Jai tapping and humming the number. Jai was in another world and he looked happy. Jai Walia was happy in a long time.
Both Aditya-Jiggs smiled knowing maybe all was not lost for Jai and maybe he will find his love.
Part-III The Blind Date of Jai-Bani
The trance remained on both of them for few days and then slowly started subsiding as both Jai-Bani got busy with their business. But the behaviour of Jai Walia had changed and that had stunned not only his family but his employees as well as his friend circle.
There was a buzz in the business circle that the man had changed not in the business sense he was still the most feared businessman who when required would get the deal done.
But Jai Walia's persona had changed. He was acting more social and was smiling a lot more. People who were with him could not believe he was the same Jai Walia who always had a sullen and a frown face.
The new Jai Walia talked about sports, politics and women. And when Jai told a joke in a business dinner some almost choked on their dinner and some almost spilled their drinks not because Jai had told a joke but because it was hilarious to the core and people just were having a hard time digesting the new Jai Walia.
Pushkar-Ranveer had seen this change and they were baffled just as the rest. They could not fathom when Jai Walia did not shout or yell at both of them when they lost a major contract all he said was, "Well you win some and you loose some." He smiled and walked away.
This reaction from Jai Walia scared Ranveer-Pushkar more than anything. Jai Walia had lost a contract and he was smiling. Both Ranveer-Pushkar liked the old Jai Walia because he would yell and then the chapter would end and they would move on. But this man was smiling and Ranveer-Pushkar could not believe this.
Ranveer-Pushkar told Jiggs-Aditya about this and both were too shocked to even say anything as it was unheard of this kind of behaviour. Ranveer told that he had a friend who knew a friend and would like to set Jai Walia on a blind date with her.
Jiggs said Jai would not agree to this. In the past, he had refused to any sort of alliance. He was not willing to meet girls that they knew so well in a business circle how would he agree to this where he did not know the girl at all.
Ranveer said that with the way things were Jai Walia may just surprise them.
So they decided to speak to Jai in the evening about this.
Ranveer called his friend Sarika Singh who wanted to set Jai on a date with this friend of hers. Ranveer said that he will check with Jai and let her know. Sarika said she will wait for his call.
Walia House,
7:00 pm, January 3rd, 2007
Jai Walia strolled into his home in a denim jeans and a T-Shirt which said, "Is it not boring to be like everyone else.?" This was a blue in colour.
When Jiggs, Aditya, Ranveer and Pushkar saw Jai in a causal Ranveer almost fell on the floor and the rest were too shocked to even say anything. And when Tony saw Jai Walia he almost dropped his tray which had tea for the family.
Jai smiled knowing the reaction would be something to remember for the rest of his life.
Jai smiled and said, "What never seen anyone in causal before?"
Jiggs said, "We have but not you. Are you fine Jai?"
Jai smiled and said, "Absolutely never better."
Then all of them started looking at each other wondering who would ask
Jai about the blind date. Jai Walia could sense something.
Jai said, "Is there something you want to ask me?"
Ranveer a bit hesitant said, "Yes Bhaiya, I was wondering and you are under no compulsion what so ever but would you consider going on a blind date with a girl my friend knows. She is a nice girl."
Jai looked at Ranveer with his piercing eyes and said, "Hmmmā¦. Fine I will go on a blind date not because I want to but since you have set this up for me so how can I refuse. After all you only live once. And what is life without some spice and adventure? Let me know when so I can schedule my meetings accordingly."
With that he left and leaving Ranveer in a state shock his eyes literally would have popped out his eye socket as he fell off the chair he was sitting on. Jai had accepted to go on a blind date. What is wrong with him?
The rest of them were left completely speechless.
An elated Ranveer called Sarika and told her that Jai was ready to meet her friend even Sarika was pleasantly surprised.
Now all Sarika had to do was convince Bani.
She did not tell this to Ranveer.
Sarika went to meet the Dixit sisters. Sarika Singh was the childhood friend of Bani. Sarika was a 5'6 inches tall had sharp features her fair complexion and wavy hair use to give men sleepless nights.
When she walked her body swayed like the wind making her walk highly seductive.
Lot of people use to think she did it on purpose to attract attention but it came natural to them and Sarika did not give a damn about this.
She believed that if she is beautiful it was not her problem and if others had a problem with her popularity with the opposite sex then it was their purgative and perception and not hers. She could care less.
Sarika knew Bani would be skeptical about going on a blind date but she had to convince her by hook or crook.
Things had taken a turn for Bani Dixit also.
The girl who was a born introvert who would think twice before opening her mouth in public for the fear of being made fun if she said something which may be perceived as unintelligent or not up to the mark was soon becoming the toast of her friends circle.
Bani was suddenly brimming with confidence and charisma that had left her friends wondering that was she the same Bani who was fearful of public speaking.
Bani did something she had never done in her life.
She took a bet and lost. She was asked to dance on the table of the restaurant seductively by her friends. The older Bani would have refused but the new Bani not only got up on the table but did such a seductive number that the owner made twice in revenue than what he usually would have made for the evening.
Bani left with the telephone numbers of a dozen males and an open invitation to the restaurant with a promise from the owner that she will get the table whenever she came to the restaurant irrespective of how busy it may be.
When Sarika kept the proposal of a blind date in front of Bani she accepted it without any hesitation she said, "I will love to go after all u should live a little and you have only one live to life. So yes Sarika I will go just for you my friend."
Sarika was relieved and stunned at the exuberance this Bani carried with herself. She was like a ray of sunshine in this world.
So the dinner for Jai-Bani was set on Friday 5, 2007.
And a restaurant was picked for them.
Jai Walia was getting ready for his blind date. Jai wore a causal baige shirt with a light cream docker pants. He looked at himself in the mirror and combed his hair for the hundredth time. He finally wore a dark brown jacket with a brown diesel leather shoes.
He lastly wore his Omega watch and closed his sleeves button. Jai had shaved twice and had taken more than 2 hours to get ready. The entire Walia family could not believe that Jai Walia was getting ready for a date and that too a blind one so much attention to detail.
Jai finally splashed the Gillette Desert Force after shave on his face and was ready to meet the girl that his younger brother had set him up. He smiled and said to himself, "Believe it or not !!! Here I come the girl of my dreams."
And Jai Walia finally descended the steps of the Walia House which brought him to the living room where they were happy to see Jai in a relaxed mood. Jai smiled and said, "Well, wish me luck and how do I look?"
Pushkar said, "You look amazing, smart and elegant at the same time."
Jai smiled and said, "Tell me something I do not know"
And with that Jai Walia winked at his family and walked away for his date with Bani.
Leaving yet again a stunned Walia family behind him.
Bani Dixit was getting ready with for her date. She had taken 3 hours to get ready for the date. She had finally decided to wear a blue chiffon saree with matching Tanishq jewelries and matching bangles and sandals.
She wore light make up and was ready to meet Jai Walia.
She smiled at her reflection in the mirror and said to herself, "Well here I come my love, my life and my prince charming." And blushed just at the thought of it.
As Bani emerged from her room Raashi and Rano were shocked to see Bani she looked like a woman who would definitely set many hearts on fire tonight that they were sure of.
They wished Bani luck and Bani smiled at them and walked to meet Jai Walia.
The restaurant that had been chosen for them was Masala Craft which was located in Taj Mahal Hotel. It was a Indian restaurant.
Jai Walia and Bani Dixit reached almost at the same time. Jai Walia was first to reach there. The manager saw Jai Walia and greeted him and took him to his table.
Jai explained to the manager that he was meeting someone and this was a social meeting so let the things flow and to relax and not worry about him.
Jai Walia knew that managers could loose their jobs if he made a complaint Jai was in no mood for any of that. Jai calmed his nerves as he waited for this blind date to come.
Finally the door opened and a woman in her fifties walked in and the manager greeted her and then turned towards Jai Walia and the woman was coming her way.
Jai almost had a heart-attack he decided he would kill Ranveer for this kind of sick joke when the woman just passed his table and Jai Walia literally breathed a sigh of relief and then he saw a sight which he could never forget. He saw the hostess brought this woman who was 5'3 feet tall maybe less even.
She was charming and was beautiful and cute at the same time. Jai Walia found himself singing the song from Kalyug, "Jiya Dhak Dhak Jaye, Jiya Dhak Dhak Jaye."
As Bani entered the restaurant and the hostess informed her that her date was already here Bani was feeling extremely nervous she took a deep breath and walked towards the table.
The sight that greeted her would be engraved in her mind for life as she saw a man so handsome and so sexy she wanted to propose him. Bani kept saying get a control on yourself.
Finally Jai and Bani came face to face on a candle lit table. Both devouring each other as neither eyes left the others. Both were literally staring at each other.
Jai-Bani were both wondering who would start the conversation.
As the server came and took their drink orders.
Jai ordered Chivas on the rocks and Bani ordered a screwdriver which is vodka with orange juice.
Jai was impressed that this woman was having a hard liquor like him, not many would have done that.
She is different alright.
It had been 15 minutes and still no conversation had taken place. Now what both thought?
Finally Jai said, "So how are you? I am Jai Walia and you are?"
Bani smiled and said, "Hi nice to meet you Jai. My name is Bani Dixit."
Jai was blown by that smile and when she said his name it was music to his ears. He had never loved his name before as much as he did right then.
Jai Walia smiled and said, "So Bani what profession are you in?"
Bani once again smiled and said, " Unlike you Jai I am a upcoming entrepreneur I have my own event management company which me and my sisters run. We are very small compare to the Walia Group of Industries."
Jai smiled and said, "Well, so what, at least you are doing what you enjoy. It is more than some are able to achieve in a lifetime."
And with that the conversation moved from politics to movies to sports. And each enjoyed the others company even though there was a connection but somehow both did not feel the sparks fly and decided though they had enjoyed this evening immensely and also each others company it will be better if they do not pursue each other romantically.
With this the evening ended on a pleasant note.
Part-IV -Jai-Bani Smitten By The Love Bug
Though both had clearly said they did not want to be involved with each other romantically but the ironically neither of them could get the other out of their head.
Jai Walia had lately visited Planet M and bought some new music.
It was Sunday and all were relaxing in the living room when Jai played his new music. The first song was itself stunned them to the core.
It was the song from DDLJ,

Though after his date everyone had tried to find out how it went Jai was forthright and said it was a amazing experience but it will not work out in the long run. The family had not said much because Jai was honest about it.
At least he had admitted he had a nice time. Another first in the world of Jai Walia.
Jai Walia had changed a lot. He was more relaxed and there were times when he had not gone to the office and on Sunday he started to switch off his mobile. Ranveer was stunned to the core when Jai Walia started to give him more responsibility.
Jai Walia's wardrobe had also started to change on a gradual basis.
Jai decided to shop and went to the In-Orbit Mall in Malad. He wanted to buy some clothes so he went to the mall.
And Jai was looking through the store when Jai a smile appeared on his face when he saw Bani shopping with Sarika and her sisters. Jai was with Ranveer-Pushkar and Tarun.
Bani was trying some salwaar kameez in front of the mirror checking if the color suited her or not. She could see Jai Walia's image looking at her and she smiled back at him and the moment both Jai-Bani felt like a thousand darts had been thrown simultaneously at their heart and they had no choice but to take the hit.
Jai was looking at her choice of the clothes. As Bani put a purple dress on her and looked to see how she was looking she could see Jai saying no. She replaced with a red dress and she could see Jai looking at her like he was going to puke and she replaced it.
And so the selection by Bani and rejection by Jai continued until she came across a pink salwaar kameez and when she looked for Jai Walia's approval he smiled and winked at her and she blushed.
Bani decided on the pink color. Both Raashi-Rano-Sarika were completely stunned as Bani hated pink color. She said pack it and started to browse the other sections of the shop.
This time Jai was choosing tie for himself and started to see he put a maroon tie and looked in the mirror just then he saw Bani looking at him and she smiled back at him and then shook her head.
Jai changed his tie and took green color in his hand and Bani was like with the flip of her hand said not that great. Jai picked a blue color tie and Bani made a face like she had seen a ghost.
Jai then took red color tie and this time Bani stamped her approval. Jai asked the man to pack the red color tie.
This time Pushkar-Ranveer-Tarun were stunned because Jai never wore bright colors he liked light colors and that too plain but the red tie had designs in it.
They seem to look at each other trying to decipher as to who is the man standing in front of them.
Where is Jai Walia???
Just as Ranveer- Pushkar moved to leave the store they saw the Dixit sisters with their friend and this time sparks could be felt in the room. As this time Tarun-Sarika were having a hard time to take their eyes of each other.
All six of them just stood in front of each other staring at one another it looked like the store owner had just ordered six more mannequins as none of them moved a muscle or an inch until Tarun ā Sarika decided to move to the food court.
Hence all the four couples moved to the food court there the Dixit sisters came to know that Bani had gone out on a blind date with none other than Jai Walia and Ranveer-Pushkar came to know that Jai Walia had gone out with Bani Dixit then they were sure that this change had to be because of Bani.
So all the couples kept talking to each other and soon were talking like they knew each other from ages.
They decided to meet for movie that evening followed by dinner at a restaurant nearby.
Jai Walia told them he would take care of everything
So they decided to go and see a new movie which had come out recently.
Jai Walia booked them for the last show for the night after which they would end up in a 5-star hotel 24 hour coffee shop.
The show will start at 10pm.
All of them left to get ready for the evening.
Jai-Bani smiled at each other and then they left.
When Pushkar-Ranveer reached Walia House they told Jiggs-Aditya that they had met the girl Jai had gone out with and told them that the sudden change in Jai Walia had come due to Bani Dixit and they were sure that Jai Walia was slowly but surely falling in love with Bani Dixit.
They told Jiggs-Aditya how Jai Walia was blushing and shy whenever Bani was talking with him.
Jai Walia in love was a shock in itself. Jai Walia blushing and shy that was something that Jiggs-Aditya would give million dollars to anyone who could show them that reaction.
Jai Walia was falling in love Jiggs just sat there trying to digest this.
Bani Dixit was falling in love with Jai Walia and that is what her sisters concluded as Bani seemed so shy and quiet in front of him.
Bani Dixit was a chatter-box and anyone who knew her would know that once Bani started to talk it was an impossible task to shut her up yet in the presence of Jai Walia she had hardly spoken anything.
Bani Dixit's sudden metamorphosis was due to her date with Jai Walia.
In-Orbit Mall,
Fame Cinemas,
Sunday 10 pm,
All the four couples met for the movie. The movie was playing in their Jubliee theatre 6. All of the couples walked into the movie theatre and finally came to the seats.
Now how to sit but it happened so easily and naturally that know one even noticed as Jai-Bani sat next to each other. Ranveer-Raashi ended up together so did Pushkar-Rano and Tarun-Sarika seem to already start to cuddle each other.
So the lights went out and the movie started. And there was a scene in the movie which was a little scary for Bani and almost naturally she clutched Jai's hand and her head came on the corner of his left shoulder.
The sudden touch of Bani and the Jai's touch to Bani send a electric current to both of them from head to toe. And even before they realized Bani-Jai found themselves nestled in each others arms.
The scene elsewhere was even getting hotter as Tarun and Sarika had already started to kiss each other and Ranveer-Pushkar kept stealing glances at Raashi-Rano.
Just as interval came and the lights turned on Jai-Bani realized the position they were in and quickly moved from each other but their hands were still together as neither made a single attempt to break free of their hands.
Finally the movie finished and they made the getaway to the Grand Maratha coffee shop where they grabbed some snacks and coffee and by the time they left for home it was 4am in the morning.
All of them were having a hard time in letting go of each other.
Jai Walia had a important meeting in the office the next day and he was getting ready for the day when he took out the his suit and was looking for a tie when he decided to wear the red tie which Bani had liked.
Here Bani was getting ready for the office was wondering what to wear when she decided to wear the pink salwaar kameez which Jai Walia liked so much.
When Jai came out of the room to go to office this time all of them were shocked to see Jai Walia wearing a tie as he had no worn a tie for a long time and that too a bright red color tie with a smile on his face which would clearly state the man was slowly drowning in love without him even knowing.
Bani Dixit when she came out of the room to go to office this time Raashi and Rano could not believe that Bani was wearing pink color salwaar kameez suit and looked happy. Bani Dixit was falling in love more like swimming in the ocean of love with Jai Walia.
Jai Walia sat on the dining table and was waiting for his breakfast and going through economic times when Jiggs told him that he was looking nice. Jai smiled and thanked his sister.
Jiggs said, "Since when have you started wearing a red tie and that too a bright color Jai?"
Jai absentmindedly replied, "I know Di I do not wear this color but Bani insisted that I look good so I had no choice."
This time Ranveer-Pushkar choked on their breakfast when they heard Bani's name. Jai Walia was wearing a tie because Bani liked it. And to topple this shock which was even a more stunning excuse he had no choice.
Jai Walia had no choice that was for the record books. Since when does someone tell Jai Walia what to do and what not to do.
Ranveer-Pushkar looked and decided that they had to ensure that Jai-Bani keep bumping into each other as if Jai-Bani married then there line would also be clear.
Bani was having her breakfast reading Times of India when Raashi told her that she was looking amazing in pink color.
Rano asked her, "Bani Di you do not like pink color then how come you decided to take this?"
Bani absentmindedly told Rano, "I know Rano I do not like pink color but Jai insisted and felt that I would look good in this so I bought it and as you can see that I did not have a choice in the matter."
The mention of Jai Walia stunned Raashi-Rano as Bani was wearing this because of Jai. Bani changed her mind and taste because of Jai Walia. This was unheard of.
They had to do something and ensure that Jai-Bani met more. Then only Raashi-Rano felt that their line to get married to Ranveer-Pushkar will be clear.
Part-V- Realization of Love for Jai-Bani
Ranveer-Raashi and Pushkar-Rano had quietly started to date each other and their love story was moving along very nicely. Here Tarun-Sarika had also started to date each other and they were realizing that they had so much in common.
During one of the dates they decided that though both Jai-Bani said that they did not want to get romantically involved yet they were falling in love with each other without even realizing the fact.
The two couples decided that it would be up to them what to do next as Jai-Bani will never confess even though they were positive something was brewing between the two.
A plan hits Ranveer and he shares it with everyone. Rasshi-Rano are stunned and Pushkar likes it.
Ranveer calls Sarika and tells her what he has in mind. Sarika loves it. She says that she will take care of her end. Ranveer tells her that he will also involve Tarun in this plan for Jai Walia. Sarika loves it.
Ranveer then calls Tarun and tells him what he has in mind.
Lastly, he calls his elder sister and Aditya and tells them he is bringing some guest home this evening and to make sure all things are well taken. Jiggs-Aditya wonder what this can be about but Ranveer tells them it is a surprise.
That Evening,
Walia House,
7:00pm
Ranveer and Pushkar enter with Raashi and Rano and Jiggs and Aditya keep wondering who these girls are and then Ranveer tells them everything and Jiggs is left stunned to find that Ranveer and Pushkar are in love and want to marry Raashi and Rano. She is also stunned to know Tarun is in love with Sarika she has not met her but knows that she is a good friend of Ranveer.
Jiggs smiles and says, "So we have to take care of three weddings this will be nice."
Ranveer and Pushkar smile, "They say not three but four weddings?"
Jiggs and Aditya are left amused. Jiggs says, "Four? Jai is marrying Bani now?"
Pushkar and Ranveer smile once again, "That will also happen but will require time. We were talking about your wedding Didi to Aditya. Don't you think it is time you got married? I mean how long have you both been in love with each other now?"
Jiggs was blushing and Aditya has no clue what to say.
They all have a big laugh.
Jai Walia enters the Walia house with Tarun and sees Raashi and Rano his eyes searching for Bani but cannot see her he is left disappointed.
He cannot believe that Bani is not here. As soon as he says that he cannot believe he said that.
How can he be missing Bani so much? He barely knows her? But then for the first time he does not question himself he just smiles.
As he is about to leave Bani walks in with Sarika and is smiling or rather laughing as they are sharing a joke or something. Jai turns around as the laugh once again steers something deep in his heart and no words can ever describe those feelings.
Bani sees everyone and her eyes lock with Jai Walia and all Jai can hum is, "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai." And Bani keeps saying to herself, "Kaash tum mere ho jao."
Both are shamelessly staring each other and forget that there are people around them. It was amusing for Jiggs to see Jai Walia completely lost in the eyes of Bani.
It was just one of the best scenes in the history of Jai Walia went Jiggs cleared her voice and Jai Walia almost lost his footing and would have fallen on the floor had Tarun not caught him which saved him.
Bani was no better as she lost one stair and would have fallen had it not been for Sarika.
Both Jai-Bani were realizing that they were falling in love with each other but wanted to see who will confess first. As neither wanted to admit the truth that they were now finding live without each other unbearable to live.
Jai was walking away when Ranveer said he had announcement to make.
Both Jai-Bani turned to look at Ranveer and wondering what the announcement was and nothing could have prepared them for the what was about to happen.
Ranveer smiled and said, "Well, Bhaiya just wanted to let you know that I, Pushkar, Tarun and Didi are getting married to Raashi, Rano, Sarika and Aditya respectively."
Jai looked at Ranveer like what are you drunk or something??
When Jiggs and others confirmed the same Jai just stood numb. Bani was shocked and could not believe what was happening? She could not believe that Raashi-Rano had not told her. She was angry with them and looked away tears coming from her eyes.
Rano-Raashi rushed to Bani and told her they were about to tell her but Ranveer wanted it to be a surprise.
Bani-Raashi-Rano hugged it each other. Jai came out of his silence and congratulated everyone and walked away in silence.
Jiggs stopped him and asked what the matter was?
Jai said nothing he just realized he was not part of the family as his brothers and sister would not share such a huge good news with him.
Jiggs was stunned to the core she tried to explain but Jai stopped her and walked away leaving Jiggs wondering now what is happening here?
Well, next thing Jai walked back with a bottle of Don Periginon and Tattinger Champagne and shouted, "Lets celebrate people."
Then he looked at Jiggs and said, "Gotcha you!!!"
And then this time the entire Walia family hugged together it was site to marvel on.
And opened the champagne and splashed on everyone and then the fun began as everybody started to jive and enjoy themselves.
Tony who was getting the table ready for dinner was also slowly jiving and doing his work.
The Walia House was in a festive mood and everyone was enjoying this happy occasion as they will be gearing up for four weddings which will happen soon after consulting the panditji.
Part- VI Four Weddings and Jai-Bani End Up Kissing Each Other
After consulting the Panditji the earliest date available was in 15 days. And Jai said lets do this.
Jai-Bani took charge of the wedding. Both were so opposite to each other and Jiggs-Aditya looked them and said they will make a wonderful couple. And it is good that they are working together on this. It will bring them closer.
All the rasam of the marriage were about to take place.
The engagement was to happen one week before the marriage followed by Haldi Rasam, Sangit and the Wedding.
The Walia-Dixit house were being decorated for the big occasion and Jai-Bani were getting things in order and everytime their hands touched or they found themselves close proximity to one another neither was willing to walk away from there without a small eye locking session which acted as a soothing balm for the aching heart when they could not see each other.
Soon they started becoming comfortable around each other and then started the touching gesture whether it was Bani or Jai neither letting go of the opportunity to touch hands or just brush close to each other leaving both of them gasping and wanting more of that.
Jai smiled as he could not believe that even Bani could play games.
Well, Mrs. Walia he said I will teach you. Until he realized what he had told himself. Jai could not believe that he had started to think of Bani as his future wife.
And that scared and excited him both.
As he was thinking this a smile came across his face and Bani was observing him and was wondering what he is thinking about. Bani smiled and said to herself maybe about me and blushed at the thought.
Well, the engagement day came the Walia house was looking like a new bride the hall and the lawns were decorated with different floral arrangements and lighting every place and people were coming to see this engagement. Four couples getting engaged know one remembered the last time that had happened.
After all the Walia do something grand and different which has never be done before.
And the engagement went well. All four couples wearing designers clothes were looking the best.
After the guests left all of them decide to play a little game it was called Antakshri.
It was Men Vs Women.
So all the women on one side and Men on other side.
So Rano said, "Samay bitna ka liya karna hai kuch kaam shuru karo antakshri lekar Jai-Bani ka naam."
And both Jai-Bani were highly embarrassed did not know where to look but still could not stop themselves from stealing glances of one another.
So the boys team will sing with the song so Aditya starts, "Main poocha chaand se dekha hai mere yaar sa kahi chaand ne kaha chadni ki kasam nahi."
As Jiggs start to blush all the others start to hoot and shout.
Jiggs sings, "Har dil jo pyaar karega who gaana gayega. Deewana sakdo main paechana jayega ."
Then Ranveer sings, " Gori tera gaon bada pyara main to gaya mara aakar yahan re."
Raashi sings, " Raat akeli hai bhuj gaye diya kaano main mere paas aakar job hi chahe kahiya."
Leaving Ranveer completely stunned and both smile at each other.
Pushkar starts to sing, "Yuma Yuma kya koob surat sama bus aaj ki raat hai zindgai kal hum kaha tum kaha."
Rano sings back, " Hume tumse pyaar kitna yeh hum nahi jaanta magar ji nahi sakta tumhara bina."
And Pushkar-Rano share a moment together.
Tarun picks up and sings, "Na Tum hume jano na hum tumhe janne magar lagta hai kuch aisa mera humdum mil gaya."
Sarika smiles and says, "Geet gata chaal au sasthi muskara tha chal.
Then Bani takes over and sings, "Lamhe Lamhe duri yoon pigalti hai jaisa aag main shabnam jalti hai."
Jai smiles and sings, " Hum the jinka sahara woh hua na hamara. Toota jab dil ki naya samane the kinara."
Bani smiles and sings, "Rang Barse bheega chunar wali raang bares."
Jai sings, "Saatho janam main tere saath raahoga yaara. Maar bhi gaya tho main tera karta rahoonga yaar."
And Jai sees Bani nodding her no to the last part to him saying to take back the words. Jai knows she did not like his part of where it says he will die and apologizes to Bani just through eyes and Bani smiles and Jai's heart melts one more time.
And the songs continue and they keep singing both Jai-Bani after sometime it seemed this was a contest between Jai-Bani.
And then both keep singing to each other it was like watching the tennis match and all others had become a mere spectator.
And the songs keep getting romantic each moment.
I mean Jai Walia had already sung songs like "Ek ladki ko dekha, Tujhe Dekha To yah Jana Sanam and many more."
Bani was not far behind and she had sung songs like, "Tumse Milke aisa laga tumse milka armaan hua pura dil ka, Haal Kaisa hai janab ka."
And it just keep getting hotter and all were enjoying this too much.
Jai Walia was in total mood so when the game finally got over all had left besides Jai and Bani they were about to leave and when Jai told Bani, "You know what Bani, I think you are in love with me."
Bani seemed to be stunned as if someone had just touched her innermost feelings, she composes herself and said, " I think you seem to be in love with me."
Jai came closer to Bani said, "What if I am?"
Bani said, " Why are u messing with me Jai?"
Jai said, " What if I not messing with you Bani?"
Bani said, " It is too late in the night to joke with me."
And Bani tells Jai goodnight and is about to leave.
And Jai stops her and pulls her close to him and before Bani can understand what is happening Jai lips claims Bani's lips and they are kissing each other very passionately.
Bani breaks the kiss and slaps Jai and walks away.
Jai is left stunned as he sees Bani walk away.
She walks away and then turns around comes to Jai this time her lips claim Jai's and they kiss even more harder and they can feel the kiss all over their body.
Bani breaks the kiss and slaps Jai even harder.
Jai says, "What is this for?"
Bani tells him, "This is for getting this stupid thing started."
With that both of them leave and turn around once more and this time walk even faster and end up kissing even more passionately as each of them are now tasting each others mouth and their passion is on fire.
And then both of them break and leave to their room and cannot believe what has happened.
Jai comes and knocks on Bani's door to apologize for the kiss and Bani opens and this time they kiss again and this time neither of them break and the kiss leaves them exhausted.
But Bani can feel Jai moving down from back of her ears down her cheek and Jai lips were kissing the croon of her neck slowly. Jai was necking her and Bani was enjoying this immensely.
She asks Jai to leave as it may lead to something that both of them would regret.
And Jai leaves Bani but both can feel each other. They have tasted each other and now they want more as both of them are having a hard time controlling the passion which is threatening to unleash itself so relentlessly it was ready to consume them both.
Both are now pacing in their rooms as they know it will be impossible to even to lie to themselves that they are in love with each other and what happened now was because both wanted it.
So where does this leave them?
Well, slowly the day passed and finally the day of the wedding was here.
The Wedding was a grand affair as the four couples looked amazing and soon the wedding was over and now barring Jai-Bani all of them were married.
So, Bani found herself alone in her house with Raashi-Rano gone Bani could feel the longing for someone and every bone in her body saying that Jai Walia belonged to her and know one else.
Jai Walia knew it was time. It was now and never. Either she loves me or not.
He decides to talk to Bani.
Bani on the other hand has decided time has come to talk to Jai Walia.
Part-VII: The Showdown and Confession of Jai-Bani
The kiss had left both of Jai-Bani completely spell bounded. It was as if the entire kissing series was a part of a dream. But they knew they had come close to spending the night together.
Jai Walia could no longer bear the thought of a life without Bani but he was scared as he had never ended up being happy. Destiny always played a joke on him and he was left even more shattered and broken from last time.
This time if Bani did not become his he knew that he will not be able to survive because this time he had lost his heart to Bani. And something had to give or things will get more complicated.
Jai Walia's biggest weakness had always been not being able to express his emotions for anyone. He had never done it with his own family.
He had told Bani in a banter that he loved her but will he be able to say the same thing when the time and the situation demands it. Will he be able to gather that much courage to say those three words which he knew will change his life forever.
Bani kept thinking how life keeps changing and how one person who is a stranger some time back becomes the very reason for your existence.
Bani knew that she loved Jai Walia and will never be able to love anyone if Jai did not become hers. She had to tell him that how he had become a part of her life.
How she could feel him around him when he was not even there and how her heart accelerated every time she saw him. And when Jai looked her way she wanted to just melt in his arms and be there for the rest of her life with his nice and strong arms around her making her comfortable and at ease like she had never felt before.
Bani was always able to express her feelings quite easily and openly but this confession of love would change her life and she was willing to take that leap.
But what if Jai Walia did not reciprocate her love then what? Was she prepared for making a complete fool of herself only to be told that Jai Walia does not love her?
Bani said she is willing to take a chance at least then she will know where she stands with him. Even if he says no to her then also she will know the truth and not wonder for the rest of her life if Jai-Bani are meant to be together or not.
Bani decided the time has come and with that Bani decides to go and meet Jai Walia and see what destiny has in stored for her.
Jai Walia also decides to speak to Bani and wants to know what twist of faith awaits him?
Bani is just entering the Walia House when Jai is about to leave the Walia House.
They both see each other as both their cars come in front of each other. This time neither backs the car nor gets out of the car.
Both keep staring at each other and again get lost in their own world when Bani breaks the gaze opens her Lexus car door and comes to see Jai.
Jai also opens his Merc car door comes out to meet Bani.
Both are now standing in front of each other and silence is ruling them. As if they are trying to speak to each other in telepathy hoping that their thoughts reach other and words will not be required at all.
While Jai-Bani are standing in the parking of Walia House Ranveer accidentally sees what is happening from the window and very soon the entire Walia family is on the window looking at the spectacle of Jai-Bani each wondering what will happen now?
Finally Bani speaks and tells Jai, "There is something you should know."
Jai asks her, "What?"
Bani all of a sudden finds coldness in Jai's voice and says, "You want to know what?"
Jai looks at her amused and says, "Well you said you wanted to tell me something when I ask what you get agitated? Bani what happened?"
Bani looks at him trying to remain composed but it is not helping at all.
Bani says, "Jai Walia you want to know what happened I will tell you exactly what happened but keep your mouth shut until I finish otherwise I will smack you Jai I promise. I will."
Now Jai is intrigued wondering what just happened did I create this situation. I was about to confess my love for you Bani and where is all this coming from Bani he wanted to talk to her take her in his arms and kiss her make her shut up but somehow his feet were rooted to his place.
He kept wondering what was happening to me.
Bani has tears coming from her eyes she is crying and speaking now at the same time.
Bani says, "Jai Walia I know I am in love with you. In fact I am certain of it. I do not know when all this occurred but it did. I cannot change that. It is not in my hands anymore and the night when we kissed it seemed like we were meant to be together.
It was like we were two people who had just been made for each other going through life wondering when the right person will come and then when I saw you I knew you were the one for me.
Only you Jai Walia could complete me fill the emptiness and the loneliness in my life. Only you Jai. Only you Jai. There was and there never will be anyone for me but you.
I thought you felt the same way about me and that is the reason I came to talk to you but when you said what with such coldness I knew I was wrong about you.
At least now you know how I feel about you. Sorry to have wasted your time Jai. You will not be seeing me anytime soon. I am taking a break and going on holiday for sometime. Good bye Jai."
Before Jai Walia could even know what was happening Bani had backed her car and driven away from Walia Mansion leaving Jai Walia completely stunned, shocked and totally shattered and heart-broken in the process. But he also knew Bani would be completely broken right now.
What if Jai she gets into an accident or something?
He gets into his Merc and goes in search of Bani he cannot loose her at any cost.
The entire Walia family has no clue what to make of what just happened there. Raashi and Rano are worried about Bani but Jiggs tells them not as Jai has gone after her.
Jiggs says she knows Jai after all he is her brother he will get Bani back because I have never seen so much love and pain in Jai's eyes for anyone like I see whenever he comes across Bani.
Bani is driving and crying at the same time. She is completely heartbroken and cannot believe that the man she loves does not love her. So the kiss and all the moments that they shared were just illusions of her mind or were they just something that just occurred which meant nothing. How could that be?
Tears had filled her eyes and she could barely see the road as the car kept swaying wildly from the left to the right as she was not in control of the car. She did not care she was not in control of her life and heart how will she be in control of her car.
Jai Walia finally found the Lexus which Bani was driving and what he saw completely shocked him the car was just going all over the place. Jai was glad he was there and decided to overtake the car he had to before something disastrous happened to Bani.
Jai Walia shifted the gear of his Merc and it gathered speed and somehow after like four tries was able to pull right in front of the Lexus.
Bani saw a car just pulled itself in the middle of the road and in time was able to push the break and the car came to screeching halt just inches from Merc.
Once the Lexus stopped Jai Walia rushed to it and opened the door. He saw Bani's head on the steering wheel and she was still crying. He caught and pulled her out and when Bani looked at him all of a sudden she stopped crying and said, "What do you want Jai Walia? Now what do you want?"
Jai looked at her and said, "I want you and I do not want anything else as long as I live."
Bani looks at Jai completely shocked and for the first time has nothing to say.
Jai says, "You are not the only one who is in love Bani. I am in love with you ever since I saw you. I could not think of anything after our date that night and each time you magically kept appearing in front of me I knew I had lost my heart, mind and soul to you. You rule me Bani and nothing can ever change that."
And when you came just now and you said you wanted to say something to me I thought you were going to tell me that you do not love me and hence it was just a defense mechanism so I do not get that hurt in the bargain but I know when you said those words
I regretted the fact that you think I do not love you. But tell me Bani how can you not love a person when that person has become a part of you.
It will be even foolish if I even think of a life without you when I know I cannot even breathe without you for a moment how will I survive have you ever thought that.
With this Jai comes closer to Bani and kisses her forehead, kisses her both cheeks and then lips first lightly treading on it and then slowly and then even more passionately.
Bani and Jai are kissing each other with so much intensity that neither want to leave the other.
When the kiss finally breaks Bani finds herself deeply buried in Jai Walia's arms and is happy that Jai loves her so much.
Finally, Bani looks at him and says, "I love you Jai"
Jai smiles and says, "I love you Bani."
And then both of them see the shooting star once more and remember the night at the Marine Drive when they had seen each other but they do not know that.
Bani says this brings back memories of Christmas Eve you know I was at Marine Drive that night I saw this man not far away from me standing and gulping a bottle he looked nice and handsome but not as handsome as you.
And every time he would drink that bottle his watch would glistened because of the moonlight. At the exact moment Jai's watch glistened as he looked stretched his left hand and Bani was stunned she looked at the watch and then him. Jai thinks about it.
He tells her that he was at Marine Drive that night.
Jai tells her that night he heard a girl smile but he could not see her face because her hair fell down on side of the face. Her smile stirred up something in his heart.
As both keep recounting the story to each other both realize that what if they had seen each other but how can be sure of this? There was know way of knowing that? Was there?
So Jai asked Bani, "Where exactly were you sitting that night at Marine Drive."
Bani tells him, "I was with my sisters I was sitting right opposite of Hilton."
Jai is now even more intrigued because that night he had also come to the exact place to where Bani was with his sisters. He tells this to Bani.
Bani is now surprised and shocked as she remembers they were not many people around that night. She tells Jai the man she had seen had a coat on his shoulder and his sleeves were completely rolled up and now Jai knows for certain that Bani had seen him and he tells this to Bani.
Bani has a hard time digesting that fact but she knew it was the truth. Maybe.
Jai describes the where the girls were sitting and how this one girl had suddenly gotten up and had started to laugh first lightly and then she was laughing very hard as I turned around to see who had that smile that is when she turned around and the hair fell on the left face and I could not see her face.
Bani now recounts what he is saying and knows now for a fact that they had seen each other. Bani tells this to Jai and both just keep looking at each other with great disbelief as their wish came true.
Jai recounts the New Year party and Bani tells him she was there and soon they come to know that they had danced with each other that night.
Or least they think so.
Bani tells Jai that Raashi-Rano think that they met Ranveer-Pushkar that night on the dance floor but there is no way to confirm the same.
With that Jai takes Bani in his arms and decides to surprise her as he decides to tell his love to the world.
With that Jai-Bani come back to the Walia House and he tells the drivers to go and pick up Lexus from the middle of the road and gives him the keys.
Jai brings Bani back into the Walia House and tells everyone that he and Bani are very much in love and will be dating for a while before we tie the knot.
The entire Walia family is overjoyed and elated at the same time.
Part VIII ā The Wedding of Jai-Bani
The very next morning, Jai called Jiggs, Aditya, Ranveer and Pushkar and told him what he intended to do. He needed their help.
When the Walia family heard what Jai was about to do they were very happy but when they came to how they were stunned.
Jai Walia was about to confess his undying love for Bani and will propose to her on live television.
Is this the same Jai Walia?
Jai told Ranveer that NDTV has been hounding him for an interview for a long time. He just spoke to their MD and he has accepted the interview provided he got his chance to propose Bani there.
The MD was so elated that I think he thought I was proposing to his daughter or something.
Jiggs asked about the wedding ring and Jai smiled and took it out and showed it to them.
It was a Deebers 24-carat diamond ring which was in the shape of a heart with diamond studded all across it.
He told them it was their responsibility to get Bani to the NDTV studio that evening.
With that he left for the office and the Walia family was even more happier and as they started to talk about preparation of the wedding for Jai-Bani.
Just then Rashi-Rano came and got to know Jai Walia's plan were so happy. But Ranveer told them that Bani cannot know it has to be a surprise.

Time- 5:00pm
It was just coincidence or a fate of destiny that Jai Walia was about to propose to Bani on the same day that he saw her exactly one year ago. The holiday season of New Year and Christmas had brought with it a new lease on his life and it had taken him a year to realize his love for Bani but he was glad that this happened and now Bani will be his for the rest of his life.
With that Jai entered the studio of NDTV and soon found himself on the sets of a program called "Successful Entrepreneurs" and then he saw his family and Bani walking and taking a seat at the front of the interview which had been especially reserved for them.
Tarun-Sarika could not come due to their prior commitment but they promised not to miss it for the world I mean you will not see Jai Walia proposing to someone and that too on live television this was a lifetime opportunity.
So the interview started and then the interviewee, Prashant Mehta started by introducing Jai Walia and his achievement as a business man.
The interview kept going smoothly and Jai kept answering all the questions with an ease which was the hallmark of Jai Walia.
On cue, Prashant Mehta moved to his personal life and asked Jai, "How do you feel Mr. Walia when people call you the most eligible bachelor in town? I mean how do you deal with it?"
Jai Walia smiled his eyes looking for Bani's reaction and her face was anything but calm he could feel Bani being uncomfortable about this.
So Jai said, " What is there to say, my personal life is know one else's business but I think today I will change that."
With that Jai Walia walked up to where Bani was sitting the camera moved as all the studio audience and Prashant's eyes moved towards Bani.
Bani could not believe what was happening she could barely believe when Jai just got up and started coming to her. And then it happened the moment that she had craved for all her life.
Jai Walia went on on his one knee took out a box in his hand and said, "Bani, you know how much I love you. I could never love anyone else like that in my life. And I want to spend my life with you. So Bani Dixit, will you marry me ?"
Bani was so happy tears coming from her eyes and she nodded yes and Jai Walia took the ring and pushed her into her finger and then they hugged the entire audience including Prashant clapped and then Jai introduced Bani as the Mrs. Bani Walia his fiance and future wife.
And he also said the wedding was taking place 7 days from now. That shocked everyone even Jai's family.
And then the wedding preparation started 7 days to the wedding as everything was happening in fast forward.
The Walia house was decorated once again in like a new bride. The entire family was busy with the preparation of the wedding.
Jai wore a nice golden and white color sherwani and looked a very happy groom who was about to marry the love of his life. For Jai Walia nothing could ever change this feeling. Nothing.
Raashi-Rano were getting Bani dressed in her wedding outfit which was a red color legha and blouse with golden embroidery and the same went for the dupatta. The jewelry was from Tanishq exclusively made for the wedding of Jai-Bani.
And she looked so beautiful and goregeous and both Raashi-Rano kept teasing her and all Bani could do was blush and feel shy about it. She wanted to stop them but her heart liked listening to their banter.
Finally the moment arrived and on December 31, 2007 Jai-Bani tied the knot.
Jai was waiting very impatiently on the mandap and then he saw Bani and just froze as he could not remember if he had ever seen a more beautiful and a gorgeous woman in his life.
Soon Bani came to the mandap and sat next to Jai Walia and wedding ceremony started with Jai finally tying the mangalsutra around Bani's neck and filling her maang with sindoor making her his wife and that was the happiest moment of their lives.
Finally the Wedding Night came when Jai-Bani found themselves alone and Jai came to Bani. Bani' s heart was again beginning to gallop and froze when Jai lifted her veil to see the smile on his bride's face.
Jai slowly removed all her jewelry and then kissed his new bride first on the forehead, then on her neck and then all over the place.
Then Jai kissed Bani on the lips and then the passion unleashed itself fully as nothing was keeping them back today and slowly yet passionately Jai-Bani consummated their marriage and kept making love to each other all night. They finally slept in each other arms towards the nearing of the dawn.
Part IX ā Day After the Wedding:
Bani and Jai woke up in each others arms.
They looked happy and Bani could feel the love they felt for each other in their hearts. Bani tried to get up but Jai was not in mood he pulled Bani once more and they ended up making love to each other. And this continued for sometime finally it was nearing three in the afternoon.
Finally, both of them emerged not before they had taken a nice hot steamy bath together and they looked happy as the family gathered for lunch and things were good.
As all of them kept teasing Jai-Bani and kept asking them if they slept at all last night, Bani blushed and was red like a tomato from head to toe.
Jai on the other hand smiled and asked Ranveer-Pushkar-Aditya how was their wedding night or rather last night did they sleep well?
Now it was time for them to shut-up as Jai said to them you cannot win with me.
Ranveer said, "Bhaiya I have some good news for you and Bani. Raashi and me are in the family way."
Jai-Bani were so happy and Jai hugged Ranveer and Bani hugged Raashi and then he looked at Pushkar and Jiggs like what is happening with you two?
Both Pushkar-Jiggs just wanted to hide someplace.
But Aditya said, "Not to worry Jai. All in good time. All in good time."
Jiggs gave Aditya a friendly jab and the entire family started to laugh.
Part X ā Epilogue:
This holiday season had brought them so much happiness and joy. They wished that this will last them for the rest of their lives.
Soon, Rano-Jiggs also were in the family way.
Sarika gave birth to a baby boy and Tarun was elated and so was the Walia family.
Rasshi gave birth to a sweet baby girl and Ranveer was over the moon.
At the same time all of them came to know that Bani was in the family way and this time Jai could not save himself from being teased a little he did not mind that at all.
Soon, Jiggs and Rano gave birth to a baby boy and a baby girl and the Walia family was elated.
Finally the moment came for Jai and Bani. Bani surprised Jai Walia by giving birth a baby girl and Jai was the happiest person in the world.
And so the Walia family lived happily ever after basking in the glory and the warmth and love of their family members and friends.
Both Jai-Bani keep telling each other they knew that they would fall in love but never knew that their pyaar will happen "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke"
Both smile and laugh about it.
