Divorce- Should Be Made Easy?

In most countries, a concrete reason is needed to obtain a divorce, such as adultery or neglect. This reason must then be argued in a court of law, and its validity scrutinised. The question under consideration is whether the process should be made easier. The proposition might define the motion that either partner can independently obtain a divorce from a court without having to give any grounds for the separation.

Do you think it will benefit couple mostly if it's made easy? or the reason to make it this complicated has some valid grounds which is served?

On a serious note... Divorce in India needs to be simplified...
Theres no use when divorce cases are dragged on to as long as 7-8 years...
I think every marriage contract should have a clause dictating the terms of divorce too...

Satyanash!

You can save lots of money by not getting married and then on top of it you don't spend any money getting divorced. Plus imagine all the money you save when you don't have to buy the in-laws expensive wedding tofas.

We cannot have life expectancy of men to grow by following such measure's😉

I beleive in institution of Marriage hence would say that People should think twice before marrying each other and there should be atleast 9 months difference between engagement and marriage

Sowmyaa and Swordfishh, I agree.
For a couple that needs to separate, there has to be a better way out.

However, when it comes to hollywood celebrities, divorces should be made more stringent. Many of them just don;t seem to care much about the very constitution of marriage.

Intresting topic.. How did u think of it?? 😆

I defintly think Divorce shud be made easy because if two people cannot live together and have decided to part ways, there must be some reason. I mean they arnt really insane. So there is no need to drag a case for years. The ppl who are getting divorced need to go on wid their life which is outside the court. However, before a divorce they should be give a small amount of tym, for example, 2 months, to rethink their decision. The court has no right to decide whether a couple should get divorced or not because it doesnt know and can never know the exact truth. If both the people agree and want a divorce then it should be done quickly. However if one of them doesnt want a divorce then the court has the right to come in between.
