Which is the same as acceptance because if no-one is enforcing laws of this nature that's the conclusion. I don't blame the law enforcers really here as if two people accept to live together and decide to do some ritual and lie to each other they are married but in reality they are just lovers bearing children, the onus is on the first wife to file a bigamy case for punishment to be made on the wrongdoers.

My next question here is those officiating the ritualistic marriages are they given the responsibility to inform the registrar of marriages or do they only bear witness that they officiated a marriage and sign the marriage certificate, if that's the case say Mohan Kundra and Meera were ritualistically married they marriage is stil valid and were she to be urged now by Sultan to go ahead with a case against the Kundra's could that case go ahead as MK is now dead, unless she is suing for inheritance for her son perhaps it would be allowed, Sitara studios is still there, but we don't know of any other property Mohan Kundra left behind.

no, multiple marriages and not "accepted" by the court of law under any circumstance, the subsequent marriages are declared null and void incase it's proved BUT here, the woman and her children are given due rights bec. the culprit is the MAN who cheated the woman so he's made liable for it (therez a similar law for live in relationships)...the other woman might not be aware of that person's previous marriage..yes, the onus is on the first wife to file a bigamy case & put that man behind bars..

about the next question, no..in my knowledge no..for the marriage to be registered, the couple needs to give the proof of marriage, i.e. the wedding card, the DVD and the wedding pics ...there may be some inquiry from the relatives or neighbours too ...they are the only formalities , otherwise if the couple produces false info, it's punishable as per the law..

Hmm...don't think so. Far as I know about Indian laws thanks to my dad...Hindus in India are not allowed to have more than 1 wife. Same here in America. No religion is an exception. Only 1 marriage.

See as per the hindu marriage act only one wife is allowed... it doesn't mean all your first marriages are legal and second marriages are illegal... There are certain rules in indian law...

In the show, so far,
Firstly we are not sure whether MK's marriage with Meera is registered.. I am sure CV's wont show that... so lets forget it.

Secondly, as per the law if the wife went missing for more than 5 years and if the husband is remarried then his first marriage will be nullified... You cant return to ur husband and his family any time in ur life and claim that nahi nahi woh mera pati hai n all... neither people accept it nor court...😊

In the show, meera went missing for 30 long years, her marriage with MK is nullified long back...So even if Sultan n meera goes to court , court supports Radha, NOT Meera.

So if you ask me who is MK's legal wife, i can surely say Radha is his legal wife.. NOT Meera... I have given this info purely based my knowledge on Law...

the marriage may not be legitimate and proved void in the light of evidences, but there is some value attached to the institution of marriage and the rituals..they hold some importance...also, if a man is lying and marrying more than once, he has to have some responsibility towards his next wife and children, hence the law protect their rights and make the man liable to them...

forget about the court cases, civil cases such as these (family claiming rights over the property) run for 30-40 years..Sultan buddha ho jayega prove karte hue ke Meera is MK's wife ...uske baad bhi he won't get any right over the property...after 30 years, the rights over property and assets r transferred already and since nobody objected to it then, they cannot do it now...

I agree that there is some value attached to the institution of marriage and the rituals.. TM asked about the lagal things, hence i gave my view in legal perspective... Yes, a man holds the responsibility of his mistakes if he alive... but its not fair to torture his family for his mistake... i will never agree with that...

So far we are not even sure what happened between mohan and meera... Story just started... We are not sure whether MK ditched meera and married Radha ? OR MK just had affair with meera but married Radha ? OR MK married radha after meera went missing assuming that she is dead?...So once the story unfolds we can say anything about MK...

We have no right on any property made by our parents, we can only claim something that belonged to our grandparents. (Ancestral property). Our parents have right to give watever tey made to either all kids, or any one kid, or even to random people. So MK gave to RK!
We can only challenge our parent's will that it was not made with a sound mind. It has to be within a time frame. And especially not after the property has been under RK's name for so long.
No body can stake a claim on RK's property because its made by him. And only RK's kids can claim their right in Sitara studio.
Sultan can go ahead on this one man mission. His quest for Kundra last name is different, but how des RK get involved in this? MK is dead and RK n his mom were also cheated.
