^^ My sentiments too. WE never see how much India has got in terms of resources and travel destinations. We open up our eyes to them only when a foreigner approves it. It took us British rule to realize we were one strong nation. There are many more examples where we look for foreign approval, tourism being one. Since foreigners like beaches where you can roam wearign next to nothing, they prefer goa and if they want drugs they prefer manali, so thats why these destinations are now popular!

BUt the situation isn't that grim. Tourism is growing now, at a very fast pace at that!
