Pavitra Rishta Concept

I don't like how Ekta is portraying marriage in Pavitra Rishta. I have no problem with Arjun- Purvi Jodi or any other Jodi in PR. But Ekta is portraying marriage as a game in her show. Purvi donates her hone wala Pati to her sister moments before the wedding and her hone wala Pati becomes her sister's actual Pati. Ovi makes marriage a cheap deal. Onir marries a pregnant woman while he is already married. And the dirtiest and nastiest concept shown in this show is two sisters made pregnant by the same man. I was able to take it until the pregnancy secret came out. But whatever is being shown in PR right now is just a slap to our culture and beliefs. I know now a days most TV serials portray this kind of relationship. Has our culture become so open in reality. Whatever Ekta is showing in PR is even too much for Western culture. I used to watch this show with my teenage daughters before, now I don't want them to watch this show anymore thinking that they might get the wrong message from this show.

Hi,
When did the TV dramas become moral guides and teachers??

Talking of culture, our epics Ramayana and Mahabharatha are not actually beacons of morality!! hope you are not following them in your lives..word to word

Let your kids see PR...they will learn what not to do!!!

I agree with all of the previous comments on this topic. Not only PR, but people watch these drama shows on every Indian channel as a source of entertainment, not life lessons. Personally, (and this is not related to your topic), all the things that happen on not just this show but any show that is immoral should not be taken so seriously as it is. We watch these shows as a dose of entertainment, not to learn what to do with our life.

I completely agree I grew up watching Kyunki and kzk
No matter how much I disliked some tracks
Prerna and Tulsi were all epitomes of goodness, they made mistakes but loved and respected their elders and I can proudly say those serials did teach me the importance of loving and respecting elders especially your in laws
I know I sound old fashioned but I think if I ever make a good daughter in law the credit will go to ekta
But she did show some improper things in most shows but at the end of the day her serials have always reached me
Pavitra is just a drag
The show lost its essence the day Arjun and ovi got married
I use to love arvi but now I cannot even stand their scenes
I completely agree don't let your daughters watch this , because there is nothing good left in the show

If your parents raised you right, all this fictional shit wouldn't influence your life in anyway. You don't learn to diffrenciate between right and wrong by watching a serial😳
