To add on, again - if Suraj is "that guilty" and her family felt that strong about the whole situation n all and they knew the whole story, why did they not come forward intitally ? The most important thing, why was he allowed to be at her funeral if he was the "cause" of all of it? According to her family they blame him...so It just doesn't make sense.

Again, the guy is a moronic douche bag for dating and leading a mentally disturbed girl on, however he isn't a murderer. Nothing in that note suggests he assisted her suicide in one way or another. She was just complaining about lack of love, fidelity and devotion from him the way she gave it back. A lot of romantic/sexual relationships are imbalanced like this but we can't charge them all with murder due to accusations of unrequited love and infidelity from the deceased. No where in the letter did it say, he raped her. From that letter, I concluded she was raped and/or physically abused by someone in her past thus clung to Suraj like he was the last hope in her life. Jiah was disturbed, a lot of factors could have contributed to her suicide out of which Suraj was just ONE therefore this is a nonsensical charge. Last I checked, infidelity and douchebaggery is not a crime so it shouldn't amount to a manslaughter charge.
