To add on, again - if Suraj is "that guilty" and her family felt that strong about the whole situation n all and they knew the whole story, why did they not come forward intitally ? The most important thing, why was he allowed to be at her funeral if he was the "cause" of all of it? According to her family they blame him...so It just doesn't make sense.

seems like every one is pointing fingers at mummy dear now. mummy dear is all stressed and pissed. she has the nerves to badnaam karo her daughter more now. yeah poor thing is dead, now ppl are getting entertained. what good this gonna do. bring jiah back? why didn't mummy dear do something when she saw all this abuse on her daughter. you tell me, she didn't know nothing about all this. now she is opening her big mouth.? she could have been more vocal about it. maybe someone out there could have given this sorry ass few good punches.

she the hell up lady. let your daughter rest in peace now. nothings going to happen. after few weeks everyone will forget and get busy with their lives.

No where in the letter did it say, he raped her. From that letter, I concluded she was raped and/or physically abused by someone in her past thus clung to Suraj like he was the last hope in her life. Jiah was disturbed, a lot of factors could have contributed to her suicide out of which Suraj was just ONE therefore this is a nonsensical charge. Last I checked, infidelity and douchebaggery is not a crime so it shouldn't amount to a manslaughter charge.

I agree he shouldnt be charged for murder. But we dont know if Jiah's mother has filed a case against him for torturing her daughter and leading her to suicide. I think we have a provision in our law for that. Also its common in India that whenever a girl commits suicide her husband or boyfriend will be first one to be called by the police for interrogation. Now here we have a hand written suicidal note as well. That makes the accusations stronger.
