Rajshree's Saat Phere
Rajshree Thakur....aka Saloni, Saat Phere, prior to this serial Rajshree was a news reader for All India Radio. This year she has won the Indian Telly Award for Fresh Newcomer of the year. Rajshree is getting married in early 2007. Indya.com does a rapid-fire round with her on her marriage plans.

Nothing much. I'm too busy shooting.

Everything is handled by my parents.

I'm a Maharashtrian, so I will be wearing a Sari i.e a shaloo.

Who selected the saree?
Of course I selected it. But it will be given by my maternal uncle as that is traditional Maharashtrian custom.
What jewellery are you planning to wear?
It will be typical Maharashtrian jewellery. A nose-ring (nath), green-bangles, gold bangles, and gold necklaces.
Where is the wedding?
Mumbai
Where is the reception?
Mumbai
What will be the menu for the marriage?
It is not yet finalized.
What is your fiance name?
Sanjod Vaidya. He is my college friend.
Where are you going on your honeymoon?
It is not yet decided, but most probably to South India.
What will happen to your serial when you are away on your marriage leave?
I'm working extra hours. They won't remove or reduce my role.
Right now where do you stay and after marriage where will you be staying?
At present I'm staying in Maratha Colony, Dahisar (W) and after marriage I would be staying at Andheri( W).
Will you continue to work after marriage?
Yes. He is very supportive.
Besides Saat Phere which other serial have you signed?
I am only doing this serial.
Which other serials do you watch?
I' don't get time to watch my serial, but whenever I get time I watch 'Kasam Se'
