Part 23:

Since it was a last minute decision by RR to make this act, the others were unaware of this costume!

Aisha was all ready in the bhootini get up and ready for the act to bring out the truth….She was standing outside all ready waiting for the team to return when Chotu had seen her from a distance and got the shock of his life…Trembling in fear, he ran back……

Shree, Liza, Sakshi eagerly walk back with Chotu tagging along with them…..

From a distance, Chotu points to the ghost form he had seen near the house…."woh dekho….maine kaha na….ab bhi wahi khadi hai!"

Aisha was standing straight in perfect cop posture and Shree noticed her form and commented, "yeh bhootini toh Rathod sir waale pose mein khadi hai….."

Liza and Sakshi giggled at that….

Liza replied with a grin, "iss comment main zaroor Rathod sir tak paunchaa doongi Specky Sen! Unnse ek dammit toh tumhe sunaake rehungi!"

Shree glared at her through his specs…."aur kar bhi kya sakthe ho tum Liza….kaam pe toh dhyaan nahi rehta…..par gossip…gossip toh…"

Sakshi: [grins and snaps Shree] guys, joke chodo aur yeh socha ke woh kaun se bhootini hai jo Rathod sir ke nakhre kar rahi hai?

Shree: [shaking his head in total disbelief] Sakshi, tumhe ab tak doubt hai…[when all looked at him enquiringly] woh bhootini Aisha hai…..

Chotu enquires surprised, "tumhe kaise patha?"

Liza and Sakshi scrutinize their eyes on him awaiting Shree's reply to that while Shree adds, "woh pose, aur woh body structure dekho na yaar…..confirmed humaare lady dabaang Aisha hi hai!"

When Liza and Sakshi roll their eyes at him, Sakshi chirps "SHREEE….Sameer tumhe zameen ke andhar ghaad denge…."

Liza adds,"haan aur usske pehle tumaare yeh gol gol aankhen baahar nikhaal denge….sambaal ke haan Specky!"

Shree: arre arre…mazaag tha yaar…ek mazaag bhi nahi kar saktha kya?

"tum log khel mazaag mein mujhe bhi dhaant khilaavoge guys!"

Aisha stern voice snapped them all out of the playful conversation….but they still were surprised by Aisha's new role play of a bhootini!

Sakshi laughed out seeing Aisha's get up and make up, "Aisha, tum aur bhootini??? Yeh kab hua aur kaise? Sameer se jagda hua kya?? And don't tell me that he gave you this punishment, haan?"

Liza was also laughing at Aisha while Chotu exclaimed, "yaar Aisha, tumne toh mujhe daraa hi diya"

Aisha rolled her eyes hearing that, "Chotu….tum ETF mein ho aur aise darr rahe ho, huh?? Arjun sir se ek SYS class chahiye kya?"

Chotu: na re baba….bhootini ke saath date uss SYS lecture se better hai!

Shree: dekho na isse ab bhi date ki padi hai…..11:30 baje waaali se complain karna padega!

Aisha snaps all out of the fun mode, "guys…..buck up….we need to move now! Arjun sir aur Rathod sir haveli keliye nikhal chuke hai….chalo chalo…raaste mein humaara plan explain karungi…chalo…..come on move it team!"

Shree comments playfully, "dekho, pose hi nahi balke orders bhi Rathod sir ke tarah hi deh rahi hai!"

Aisha punches his stomach playfully and they start walking….

All reach the haveli….

Through the back door, Aisha enters and takes her position in the 1^st floor room posing as the bhootini…..

All others take their positions waiting for the person for whom the bait was laid!

Chotu is downstairs keeping an eye at both the doors…..Shree is in the terrace….

While Rathod stays in the next room from where he could see the movements in the room where Aisha was….

Arjun and Sakshi are below the stairway which leads to the 1^st floor……The place under the staircase is so less and cramped up….they somehow adjust and sit in that narrow place to remain hidden from the person going up the stairs……

And the lady for whom they were waiting falls into the trap…..all their eyes dart in behind her….

Arjun and Sakshi also get up from their position to follow her up…….

A sharp metal strip which was protruding from a broken chair and was dumped in that place, tears across Sakshi's upper arm as she gets up….She felt a piercing pain through her entire body!

Before she could yell in pain, Arjun notices that, he quickly closes her mouth and corners her to the dark corner away from the stairs….his angry glares make her feel like she woud burn down!……He gestures with a whisper "shh"

She understands that she has to bear the pain and remain silent…She just nods with her teary eyes and he slowly removes his hand from her mouth……Unshed tears fill in her eyes but she controls everything and bites her lips trying to bear the pain all within herself!

As he climbs the stairs, she also follows him!

Soon the case is solved and the girl who was assumed to be dead long back is the one who was posing as a bhootini and trying to avenge the death of her family! The small boy who was missing and another rich landlord who had gone missing few years back are saved…..The landlord who had killed the girl's family is taken into custody…the girl and the old lady who helped her are also taken in!

Having solved yet another mystery successfully, ETF walks out of the haveli!

Once outside, Sakshi tries to talk to Arjun…"Arjun….I am sorry"

She feels guilty that she had almost ruined their plan……if she had screamed in pain, then the lady and the bhoot girl would have got alerted and everything would have gone for a toss….so she felt sorry and wished to apologize…..She also knew that Arjun was a bit annoyed with her for that as well!

Arjun sarcastically looked at her when she voiced her sorry..…"Maine pehle hi kaha tha ke ETF mein rehna itna aasaan nahi hai Sakshi…tumaare jaise journalist ke liye yahaan tik paana bohat mushkil hai……hum log roz mauth ko apne saamne dekhte hai! [smirking] Phir aise chot toh kuch bhi nahi hai"

As he turns away, Sakshi replies, "maanthi hoom mushkil hai par naa mumpkin nahi hai Arjun….aur bohat jald main yeh zaroor mumpkin karke dikhaavungi!"

He turns to her side and then looks at the cut on her hand….it looked like a deep cut and he very well knew that it would have hurt her very badly and she must be in severe pain as well……her crying out in pain was the most natural reflex any human being would while in such horrible pain and he realized it too but his 'I don't care a damn' attitude and ego never allowed him to sober down or acknowledge that realization……He hid his basic human instinct of empathizing with her and voiced sarcastically….however well he hid it, yet a bit concern reflected in his words….."pehle iss pe patti lagaa lena…..phir…."

Before he could finish, something else grabbed their attention….Aisha's phone rings and her reactions and changing expressions make them all look to her side….

Aisha speaks over the phone, "haan main paunch jaavungi…"

She cuts the call and Sameer walks to her enquiring…."kya hua Aisha?"

Aisha: Sir, mujhe waapas jaana hoga….ghar pe ek emergency hai..

Sameer looks around and realized that all were listening and that's why Aisha sounded so formal and so he didn't probe further into the details….

He just replied, "Ok…take the first flight tomorrow morning Aisha….."

Arjun understood that they needed privacy and voiced to none in particular but in general to the entire team…."Lets go!"

Arjun walked away first followed by Sakshi, Shree, Liza and Chotu…..

Aisha looked at them leaving and then turned to Sameer who was observing the tensed expressions on her face keenly….He enquired slowly, "kya hua? Itna pareshan kyun ho? Aisa kya emergency hai?"

Aisha didn't reply but just kept looking at her hands which were fiddling with her phone…Sameer understood that it wasn't easy for her speak it out….

He just put an arm on her shoulders protectively, "accha chalo….pehle yahaan se nikalthe hai….kya patha sacch mein koyi bhoot phir se aa jaaye…."

He was trying to lighten the mood and cheer her up….she just smiled faintly at him and then walked along….

Once at the guest house, all retired to their rooms……Sakshi, Liza and Aisha shared a big room…while the hot heads were in separate rooms…..Chotu and Shree shared a room…..

Sameer wanted to talk to Aisha, find out what worried her so much and ease away her worries as much as possible….He wanted to assure her that he was with her no matter whatever happens….

He had been trying to call her and message her for a long time but she wasn't responding…..He had earlier thought that she would come to him and tell him the matter but it didn't happen….He couldn't sleep without knowing that all was well with her!

After a little while, he knocked the girls room hesitantly…..The door wasn't locked…..it was just ajar…and the lights were on too!

Sakshi opened the door and was surprised to see him there…."Sameer?? kya baat hai?"

Sameer: Sakshi…..zara Aisha ko bulaavo…..I need to talk to her…..phone bhi nahi pick kar rahi hai….

Liza walked to the door with a phone in her hand….."Sir, Aisha ka phone yahi room mein hai…aur silent mode pe hai…."

Sameer: [anxious] aur woh??? Woh kahaan hai?"

Sakshi: thodi dher akela rehna chahthi thi… she is terribly upset with something Sameer…par khulke nahi bathaa rahi hai!

Sameer nodded…"I know…."

Liza added hesitantly, "sir woh terrace mein hai…..and I think she needs you…."

Sameer silently nodded and turned towards the terrace!
