Interesting question TM
In context to the show I like Shiv and he is the best partner someone like Anandi could have. So I felt very happy when Anandi got him as her partner.
But in context with reality I would vote for none. Or Probably Bhairon. I find Bhairon more real. He is a sensible man with great values and has faced real problems. E.g. he failed to speak up for Sumitra to his mom, but that's a real problem men face and sometimes they cannot be termed as perfect husbands, but they are real husbands.
On the other hand, Shiv is like every woman's dream, but I find Shiv as 'larger than life' husband
Both Anandi and Shiv are larger than life characters.
Real people have real problems, and that's when husband and wife come together to solve 'real' problems, weave new dreams, plan for their future and live together. What I see in AnSh relationship is Shiv is the giver and Anandi is the taker, which looks one-sided. Shiv supports A to sort out her problems and A worries for the rest of the world's problems. In reality both partners play equal role in nurturing their relationship, but I don't see Anandi doing anything for their relationship.
Shiv's character started as a perfect man with right values, to be classified as the best husband material. But post marriage, Anandi's regressive nature makes me wonder, are husbands in real life this patient? Do husbands never object that their wives have to keep going to their Ex for some or other reason? Does a guy never push his wife to think about her growth, especially when he married her for her same quality of perseverance, depite having downfalls?
It feels as if Shiv does not have any other dream apart from seeing Anandi happy. Honestly that's very fictious. Real life husbands do have other dreams which they like to fulfil with their wives.
I would say Bhairon & Sumitra had more dreams together as couple despite living in an orthodox set up, as compared to AnSh, who are actually newly-wed and have more liberty in life.
