From messages to lovestory

BV started as a message oriented show in the beginning. Till Jagya started philandering. We had so many wonderful episodes with Sugna. and now we rarely have even a glimpse of her. Seems even Sumitra has forgotten her own daughter. We also saw how young avika was interested in studies and then even when she was in her maika for considerable years, strangely she was not studying. And then Jagya fascination for city life and his messy affair with Gauri was one of the low points of BV with no real messages. Anandi's becoming sarpanch and helping people with education, rescuing women in distress were all very powerful. Shiv's entry also served purpose as he was a man of principles but introducing Saanchi as his shrieky sister was unnecessary. Why cant Sanchi be a normal one like others? We still need a story for Shiv's brother who is a capable and charming actor.

And now this serial has regressed into a triangular lovestory. Sumitra supporting Saanchi, anandi silently witnessing the entire drama, ganga finding herself isolated. Atleast they could have shown ganga's husband repenting and mending his ways.

The bhairons had a son and daughter. The daughter's story ended too quickly and the actresses playing the daughter, Shyam being played by 2 different actors all put an end to that chapter.

Anandi has also a father, but he never visited the daughter's second maika where she is quite happy inspite of Saanchi. The shekhars and shiv also never talk about that father and when the daughter herself forgot him, why to blame others?

Anandi's childhood friends like phooli disappeared from the scene and also Shyam's sister. Hope they are doing well.

Only anandi's teacher makes an occasional appearance.

And new characters have been introduced seemlessly.

If the actress who played gauri is ready, gauri may reappear.

Balika Vadhu always depended on love stories.But all the love stories were for different couples.First it was sugna,pratap but as pratap died it was syam sugna.After it ended they showed basant gehna.Then it was anandi jagya.When they made their sr,they introduced gauri to make another love story.That love story also continued for couple of months,in between they were showing romantic scenes between anandi and jagya as gauri and jagya reached to their sr.Then they showed a short love story between asha and abhishek.After that track anandi and shiv love story started.And now as anandi and shiv finished their sr cvs need another solid love story and thats jagya ganga love story.But for a girl like ganga its wrong (cvs thinking) for her to fall in love,she should take time to realize so they showed the realization of sanchi and depending on jagya sanchi by giving romantic dream sequence between the two.It was always a love story.In future they have mahi also sanchi if she turn into a good girl.They can't survive without it,Messages ka kya hai,there are hardly some people who actually take some lessons from serials or films.And as I said earlier in my another post there are thousands people who will take 100 different messages from one scene or dialouge.

The first lovestory of BV was that of Sugni. With her husband and then with Shyam.

The second lovestory was a brief one with jagya and anandi.

The third one between gauri and Jagya.

In between there were lovestories of anandi's friends.

Now it is all one sided. from sanchi's open advances and ganga's silent love.

Not to forget shiv and anandi's forced lovestory. It was also one way from Shiv's side but now it has become a fulfilled lovestory by anandi reciprocating in time. In a way it has all the trapping of an arranged marriage which has worked well.

the bond between dadisa and Basant. between dadisa and bhairon. between bhairon and basant.

these relationships were well explored and heartwarming. It always seemed the bhairon got lesser attention from his mother and bhairon also is the one who questioned dadisa.

And gehna's tryst with the music teacher. There used to be so many hues.

I am trying to revisit BV from the beginning with nostalgia.

Bhairon always seemed to be more sensible.
