Actors Varun Badola and Rajeshwari Sachdev were recently in town to promote their upcoming TV show Big Fame Star, where they will be seen as both mentors and judges. Actor Sara Khan will host the show that airs on Big Magic.

The husband-wife duo spoke about the show to an enthusiastic audience that had gathered on the ground floor of Fun Republic Mall. The interaction was followed by an entertainment programme, wherein dancers regaled the crowd with a Russian ballet and other performances.

Rajeshwari and Varun said they were extremely excited to be a part of Big Fame Star and were looking forward to seeing and judging some really great talent.

Shortlisted contestants from Sitapur, Kanpur and Lucknow took part in the mega auditions that were held at the Vittiya Prabandh Sansthan, Indiranagar on Friday.

Two more phases of auditions will follow wherein more contestants will be selected from four other markets across Uttar Pradesh with Noida being the next city. As the auditions will come to a close, the mentors will shortlist the top 16 contestants who will feature on Big Fame Star. '
