Rani and Kajol in Koffee with Karan?

Karan Johar is all set for a second season of his popular chat show Koffee with Karan, and he plans to start shooting from January. On his show Karan invites bollywood celebs and chats with them about their life, likes, dislikes and their controversies. There is a lot of buzz about the guests to be invited on the second season of the show and though Karan plans to have some of the same guests on the show, he plans to have some interesting pairs together. One such interesting pair who has appeared on his show previously but separately is Rani Mukherjee and Kajol. Rani earlier appeared on the show with Kareena Kapoor and Kajol was seen with Shahrukh Khan. The two light eyed cousins were earlier seen together on-screen in Karan Johar's film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, however at that time there were rumours of the two actresses not being on good terms.

A source claims "Karan wanted Rani and Kajol together for his first season, but they were not on talking terms so his plans didn't materialize." The source further adds "Karan wanted to start his second season with people he is most comfortable with. He started his career as a filmmaker with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai where he directed both Rani and Kajol and now after nine years they will all be sharing screen space together again." Karan has planned another surprise on the same episode featuring Rani and Kajol together which will be Shahrukh Khan. SRK shares amazing chemistry with both these cousins and their films with him have mostly been hits. Karan is planning a zingy rapid fire round for both these strong and beautiful Mukherjee gals.

At first Kajol was reluctant to do the show but Karan being a good friend managed to persuade both her and Rani to do the show, of course the show will address the reason for the two of them having a fallout. Recently at the Baabul premiere which stars Rani Mukherjee, Kajol and her younger sis Tanisha were seen attending the event and cheering on Rani. So perhaps the hatchet has been buried, and in all probability Karan a good friend of both the actresses' is responsible for this. Rani's mother has confirmed that Rani will be doing Karan's show but she is unaware if Shahrukh or Kajol will be doing the show. Well all's well that ends well and we look forward to seeing this dynamic threesome together on-screen once more.
