Number One show on Zee TV !

Gul Khan Thanks All Followers!

For a maker of a show on Television, it is indeed a high when the show does well. It is even more heartening when it reaches the number one slot. Gul Khan, the producer and director of the show Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films), has reasons to smile. Her show is not only doing well, but it has reached the number one position on Zee TV. What's more, it has sustained the position for weeks. She would like to take this opportunity to thank all the followers of the show, her stories and her production house as they create characters from heart. She even mentioned once that the real hero of her life is the inspiration for each of her heroes on-screen, be it Maan Singh Khurana (Gurmeet Choudhary), Arnav Singh Raizada (Barun Sobti) or Asad Ahmed Khan (Karan Singh Grover).

She believes that with Mrinal Jha (Creative Producer, Undercover Productions), they have been able to create characters that are not just believable but relatable. Even the evil ones, if slightly exaggerated, find their space in real life. Qubool Hai has touched many a hearts. Be it story of an NRI girl Zoya Farooqui (Surbhi Jyoti) who is on a mission to find her roots or Asad Ahmed Khan who has a troubled past and is dealing with issues of abandonment. It is an intricate weave of stories within two families that have seen ups and downs in their relationships over the last 18 years. A journey for Dilshaad Ahmed Khan (Shalini Kapoor), Raashid Ahmed Khan (Vaquar Shaikh) and Shireen Ahmed Khan (Shabnam Sayed) who grapple with issues of love, bereavement and possessiveness. Sacrifice, jealousy and revenge are added mix to the narrative that makes it a wholesome saga.

As you have watched the story unfold with myriads of twists and turns, you as viewers have been awed by the sheer grandeur that DoP Hrishikesh Gandhi's Cinematography brings out, frustrated at the various tactics employed by the villains and transported to dreamland due to the subliminal chemistry displayed by the two leads.

A show finds its place in millions of hearts due to effort of the team that is a mix of technicians and artists. The ultimate marriage of poetry and practicality. While the Production department works in erecting the structure, Direction and Cinematography Team gives it flesh and blood. And the soul is of course the story, instilled by the Creative Team. And the people who bring all this to life are the Artists who make the characters be part of your life.

Thanks Gul for making another show and characters that I love to visit every day and make a part of MY life!! The emotional connection people make with 4 Lions characters is amazing!!

I started with Arnav and Khushi and also loved the other characters of IPKKND, the two families the Raizada's and the Gupta's! Even Shyam the super villain has a special place in people's hearts!

Now comes Asad and Zoya along with Ayaan and the rest of the Khan/ Siddiqui and Farooqui families. They all have a part to play and even Villains like Razia, Tanveer, Haseena and Firoz find a place in our psyche!

Hats off Gul! Love the work of your teams!! Continue with this winning formulas!

I also want to mention your crime drama Arjun which I also love!! Well done to your husband on that one!!
