The thing that always stood out for me about TVS was that he not only protected her from the world but also from herself - when she wanted to do sardhakai (because she was lashing out at him), when she wanted to marry Adi (to force him back into his marriage), when she was happy to go with Devarkar (be his mistress).

Yes it can be argued that it was his one lie that started the ball rolling but in my humble opinion yes he lied and if she wanted to punish him she should have walked away, None of her above actions were necessary/appropriate.

Its hard to protect someone but its even harder to protect someone from themshelves!!!!

I agree... with Payal it was something the way he treated her that made us fall in love with them. apart from his protecting her, he was also happy to see her free and doing her own thing. And he never tried to curb that. good memories :)

I completely agree with both Payal and Vinnie. From Day one TVS has always loved Sugni unconditionally and always protected her from harm's way. Sure he made mistakes but like he rightfully told Sugni in the last episode that his only intention was to win her love. I am not saying that his actions were right but i understood the reson why he was forced to do what he did... no one can ever bear to see the person they love more than life itself be with someone else... but in the end, he realized his mistakes and made amends for it by protecting Sugni in Baneras...he never for once took advantage of her even though he had several opportunities.. he wanted her to regain her memory knowing fully well that she would hate him and he was willing to tolerate that... but as they true love always prevails.. and TVS was finally reunited with the love of his life forever...

Honestly, i loved this scene... this was when he had saved Chulbulli/Sugni from drinking the milk which amma gave her... that night TVS went to her room where she was sleeping... he was going to kiss her but stopped after realizing that she hated him... Chulbulli while sleeping turned and her face ended up in the palm of his hands... you could see the happiness in his eyes... he told her he knows that she hates him but he will never take her for granted but will always protect her... a well played scene, you could actually see the honesty, sincerity and love in his eyes when he said this to her.

Very beautiful pics,everyone.

Each and every one of them tells a thousand words as they say.

No other actor in any tv serial could have portrayed several different emotions the way our TVS did.

That my friends, is by far no mean feat.

Being a saviour and protector of Sugni was his MO from day one-if I am permitted to make that statement.

Even though we know that's not how his character was depicted to be from the inception of this show-he turned the tables and won all of our hearts and accolades.

Hat's off,VARUN-YOU ARE A GENIUS👏
