Nothing much to say, loved everyone's reviews.
To add literally two cents, I noticed amidst all the drama.
- Sultan tells his henchmen...mujhe protection ki zaroorat nahin, tum log jao'...seemed like the biggest understatement of the yearđ¤Ł, considering he has been gallivanting all over town, entering high security zones like he's on his evening walk.
- I really like Radhaji these days, comes across as so dignified. I am happy that RK keeps her faith. She's like a normal mother...liked the way she refers to Sultan as 'woh ladka'...not 'woh aadmi'. Reminds me of my mom who calls everyone...that boy or girl, and I have to tell her...they are men and women, please do not call them boys/girls. Very cute touch.
But the most poignant moment in the episode was in the first Rishbala scene, when Madhu started to plead in heartwrenching panic reminiscent of the dratted 'unwedding' fiasco and RK's expression changed, gradually thawing and softening as realization was finally unwittingly forced.
This was an excellent characterization ploy.
It would have been out of character for Madhu to defend herself by reminding RK of something that would further grieve him, especially when he was already anguished.
And with the wedding in less than a couple of hours, there was no time for him to vent for a few hours about her fault and then rationally realize on his own his fault as causative.
He needed to be reminded of the past swiftly.
What Madhu was unwilling to even think of doing deliberately, she inadvertently did as the terror that she would lose him yet again clawed at her with the same force that it had previously.
And her tormented fear of losing RK was an effective reminder, cutting through his own fresh anger and torment to remind of the past.
Kudos to DVD for managing with perfect expressions and nuancing to convey what is usually conveyed via the insertion of flashback scenes.
Outstanding finessed performance by both actors.

How dare they intersperse such a nerve-wrecking nail-biting drama with something as mundane as Sultan uncovering his alive dad. Sultan has an attention span of that of a goldfish. He changes his priorities in a blink of an eye - will use my son as a bait *snap* want to win the father of the year award *snap* yesterday's don, today's Robin Hood *snap* mad at Madhu *snap* in love with Madhu *snap* have to confess *snap* nursing heartbreak *snap* will save her *snap* forgot everything about her and lets find the drunken guy who might be my father *snap* FOUND HIM in 10mins!! Phew!! All this while, RK and Madhu and the rest of us are still contemplating - shaadi hogi ki nai hogi, aur itne main Sultan ki duniyaa hi badal gayi! đ
