The reason they probably haven't showed Manav forgiving Soham is so that people don't say that blood is thicker than water when considering Purvi.

They are shown to hold grudges against who is "wrong" and not who is blood related or not.

I can understand your point, and it's a really good one. The only thing that just doesn't fit into this equation, is the fact that no one shunned Ovi. She was the worst of them all...
