As we heard that BRKD is put under scanner, lets discuss some possible reasons behind the low TRPs.
Although I hate this TRP system. Because, even if your show has a really good story and giving screenspace to each character, viewers' preference for cliched stories might jeopardize the existence of the show which is happening with BRKD right now.
I think too much negativity could be one of the main reasons of low TRPs.
Look at each character's story in BRKD:
Meera: Fooled by Balraaj Her mom encountered an accident. Even though there are sparks between Meera and Agasthya, the love story couldn't see the sunlight yet because of Balraj and other negativity.

Nandini: Her dad's in hiding for years. Cheated by her husband. No respect from her father in law. Freedom suppressed by male chauvinists. She can't even meet her first love and move on in life as if she's doomed.
Agasthya and his mom: They depend on Balraj for their living, hoping that someday they'll get their rightful share in property.
Shyama: Blackmailed by a gone case. Still chased by her painful past. Scared about her husband's life.
Biji: This character has shown the highest level of patience in the show, despite of the disrespect and insults she received from Balraj.
Nupur: No freedom of earning on her own, freedom badly suppressed.
Meera's mom: We expected some light of positivity through this character when she found out about Balraj, but right then she faces an accident and goes to coma.
Balraj: The villain who's been winning in all his conspiracies for years and exploiting almost all the characters in the story without a fail.
It's been almost 3 months but we saw not a single positive thing happening in any of those characters' lives except from the villain!!
Can you list anything positive? I doubt so.
Viewers watch shows for entertainment. Although the show is great (which I strongly believe), viewers look for something in the show that brings smile in their faces! Some positivity!
I hope the creatives learn from the low TRPs and start showing us some positive tracks too.
After all, the defeat of evil and victory of the good and innocent is what we all want. 😊
